  1. I went: Ferodo DS1.11 pads Fronts Ferodo DS2500 pads Rears EBC Ultimax slotted discs front and rear All arrived today. Very pretty discs.
  2. They were fine for FFW, but not fine for FFW and Bash
  3. I have snapped one before. But they were ancient, not dangerous snapping either fortunately. However... Lifetime Warranty Not strictly true. they were something like 6 pairs with FFW threads on them. The biggest issue with middleburn cranks nowadays is the offset. If you have +40bb on stock, even with a 128mm BB, the cranks come very close to calipers, so unless you are rear disc it isn't really worth it. Jake, I would go TT Race of Reset Steel BB. With try-all ISIS cranks. I have the cranks and rate them highly. I also have the Ti version of the BB which has been zero issues so far, but I know you are fat, so go steel axle.
  4. Bits have started arriving! Cat back, Sports Cat, Decat and Manifold are here! Either the TIP or brake bits are at the post office. I'm guessing brake bits as they were from demon tweaks rather than Bill at B5. I wonder if the TIP has even been posted yet? Either way. YAY Does anyone want pics? CBA to take them now, but if someone wants to see, let me know.
  5. It has to arrive first! good your back mate!
  6. I'll need 2 days on separate weekends to do the manifold, tip and brakes I've already spoken to Nick, fortunately he was willing to help! Can't wait to get these bits fitted!
  7. Turns out I have now bought dp, sports cat and cat back. quite abit of money now, but Im hoping will make it awesome for the foreseeable future. Best get these bits fitted!
  8. Because LCR is a bargain and the mods will be worth it?
  9. I bought a ko4 manifold in ceramic coating and fixings. New ferodo brake pads and ebc discs all round. And a badger5 tip v2.2. Next is dp, sports cat and cat back. Then a map. Excited!
  10. I just spent a grand on bits my car. Cant wait for toys to arrive! EDIT: Don't tell the missus lol
  11. That was weird Matt. You somehow managed to drag out 1 minute of clips into nearly 5 mins.
  12. I personally loved this when I used to ride it. I still own it but it is gathering dust Some of you might like my current bike. Went from: To This: Really nice lightweight street build.
  13. About as car related as I will be this weekend. Sorting out Ferodo pads and EBC discs. trying to get them at abit of a discount as £704.44 delivered is making me wince. I know what I want, just looking for best price. So far that is demontweeks. I have also just installed brand new jacking and towing eye covers. Yay, car now has all it's trim. Next will be full exhaust setup and TIP then straight to stage 2 where it will stay for quite some time. Also Luke, fair play for the persistence with this power issue. Wish I had the time to tinker as much as you have, I bet you have learnt a shit load. I would be getting to the point of using a specialist soon too. Kinda jealous you are progressing so much quicker than me Jardo, I actually quite like the job you have done on the sun roof, definite function over fashion statement. Like it. I personally would have tried slotting it under the roof skin and blending it in. but if you wanted it looking rough and ready. Good job. Also loving the Corbeau seats! £300 for a pair is a proper bargin! Are they FIA approved?
  14. My Contis have been great. Very impressed.
  15. But at least you have grown in the last 3 years.
  16. Okay, so Jitsie Freewheel seems to be the one then! I do like meaty bolts! How do we rate the Trialtech Sport Lite M30 135mm hubs in comparison to the Sport Lite version? Will work out about the same price with cogs. Also, what chains are the cool kids riding with nowadays?
  17. May be worth having a chat with Mr. Leeson? Assuming you want high quality steel? I have looked into it before, the bb shells are the killer to find.
  18. Hello All, Looking at a few freewheels and rear hubs on tarty, unfortunately I have no idea what is good these days. FFW: Reliable, lots of clicks, 18tooth, not too weighty. Rear Hub: Fixed, no clicks, 32 hole, 135mm, non disc, silver preferred, not weighty. Been running a pro 2 for years now, but want to have a crack at FFW for the weight distribution benefits. Cheers, Ash
  19. I have entered. Will be my first comp for nearly a decade. Wonder how much has changed...
  20. Jabbasport any good? Not heard of them before. I need to buy some bits before my map, Tyres, Pads, Discs, TIP, Sports Cat and DP, let me know how it all goes!
  21. What a race. Fair play to Verstappen! Was just awesome all the way through.
  22. That was very very good riding. Verging on ridiculous, loved how it was filmed too and the music.
