Those Kettle cycles rotors are seemingly really rather shit. Lots of backers complaining on the forums and trying to return the rotors for inspection or something. That said, as per usual there's some chaps on HK trying some different pad materials with those rotors to some success.

Lots of spurious nonsense every time you post,If we pick out the only "fact" there it's quite wrong. Less than 10% of the population receives water that is fluoridated, even then it's in low amounts. Only just enough to help with lowering rates of demineralising of the enamel, plus if you don't want it you can use one of many domestic filters to remove it.

Could probably do with some spherical seat washers on that chain device a la v brake/avid cps fixings.

If it's not refurbished that's a cracking deal. If it is make sure it's got decent warranty.

Not really worth paying that much for those specs. For more or less the same price you can get something better brand new.

The materials aren't quite there yet for making stuff like frames, well ones that would last at least.

I did but sold it on, more economical for me to get better quality stuff made elsewhere. Been loads of decent non commercial ones on kickstarter, but they can't do the higher res stuff as well.

The old 4X only had 115mm I think. Those forks come in at ~500mm axle-crown so a Blur TR or LT would be fine with them.

That 8gb of ram will be shared as the cpu+gpu are bundled on the same die ie APU. Bit of a letdown overall though. The cpu is basically a low power and low cost laptop model, however the gpu is a bit more meaty, sitting somewhere around 7850/7870 architecture wise. Really don't see how it could play games at anything over 2560x1440/1600 let alone full blown 4k.

Unlucky. Certainly seems to have come a long way in the 3 years since my frame got sent to some American chap....
