  1. Taking one of the legs off before handing it over would have been great
  2. I get your point and it's an opinion shared by many. For me, I had Covid back in April and it made me a feel a bit off for 5 days, I had one day off sick purely because I couldn't focus on work, I wasn't bed ridden. Based on that, I don't really feel like I need the vaccine (Especially as I'll now have some degree of immunity to it should I get hit again). My parents and grandparent would be much harder hit, so if they want the vaccine I wouldn't tell them not to. I'm certainly not anti-vax in general, this one just seems rushed through compared to most... As I mentioned in my previous post, 10-15 years is the average development time for a vaccine from what I've read, so pushing one through in under a year does raise alarm bells, regardless of how many scientists you throw at it. I see it like the flu jab really, old folks and vulnerable folks should get it and then anyone else that feels they need / want it. Like I say, I wouldn't tell someone not to have it, I just personally don't want it.
  3. Another "no vaccine thx" here... They take 10-15 years to develop and the argument that all the scientists in the world have been working on it isn't valid in my eyes - it's not number of people, it's length of time. There hasn't been long term trials like there should be, so I'll wait until it's proven and established.
  4. Reply 8 hours after original message, simply reads "It's fine, sorted it". I asked him to send a video including serial number, he backed down... People.
  5. Sold a pretty much mint DJ controller on FB Marketplace yesterday, guy came and paid cash. Text me this morning saying that one channel is crackling and he wants his money back. It's a digital controller, not a mixer, so it can't crackle - traditional mixers can crackle, but a controller would either control the software or it wouldn't. If it's not working, he's broken it as it was perfect when I sold it. I'm not giving him his money back, but I can just tell it's gonna be a pain in the arse
  6. The first post in ages that has really been BOTI. That was really gripping!
  7. I have an 18-70 I think, I would sell for about £15 because I don't need it... Let me hunt for it.
  8. Quite well produced, I'm 18 mins in so far. Seems more focused on cinematography than the riding so far, some pretty cool shots and some massive jumps though.
  9. I found out today that my dad passed away a week or so ago. I'm angry because I'll never get answers as to why he was such a terrible father. Over the years I tried a few times to get in contact with him, as did my three brothers. How he could have four kids and not have any interest in any of them baffles me and now that he's gone, I'll never find out why he was how he was. The last physical interaction I had with him was watching him cross the road to avoid me and then a few years later, he joined Facebook and swiftly deactivated his account when he read a message I sent him. He smoked 80 a day when I lived with him (We left when I was about 11), so unsurprisingly it was lung cancer that killed him. Apparently he was in a care home with Alzheimer's too. He pushed everyone away and died alone, which is incredibly sad, but also his own choice. I just have a strange empty feeling, which is very difficult to describe. I've spent most of this year ill, confined to my two bedroom flat. I've survived two rounds of redundancy but soon start furlough and I'm waiting for test results to come back from an emergency hospital appointment I had last week - fair to say 2020 hasn't been kind to me, or anyone really. It's character building, I guess.
  10. Let it all out dude, don't hold back
  11. No project / fun updates from me yet, but my new company car arrived today and I waved goodbye to the 120d...
  12. It seems to be a bit of a random number generator, one month it's 140, the next it's 700.
  13. Depends on the level for me. If there's a game I've just got, I'll watch a pro to get tips on how to play it / be amazed at how good they are. Sometimes the personality wins it too, like Limmy on Twitch - his dry humour is great. But generally I agree, I don't watch it much.
  14. I would say it's the opposite for me, I don't understand the enjoyment of running, apart from things like 100m where you try and be faster than everyone else.
  15. Ah yes, that reminds me - the Biden sniffing children / women thing. I don't understand that.
  16. "I'm A Celebrity" or any 'reality' TV shows. They're not usually celebrities and for the most part I don't really get the whole 'celebrity' thing anyway, plus it's clearly scripted / fake and even if not, I don't understand the enjoyment of watching other people do normal things - this applies more to Big Brother I guess, as they don't tend to eat nasty insects on that show. I get that lots of people enjoy it, but I don't get why. The dancing shows I don't watch myself, but I understand why people do, because there's a clearly a lot of talent involved. I mean the people that can't dance stand out like a sore thumb, so I can appreciate the talent. Oh and fake prank videos on Facebook - they usually have over 2m views, yet they're obviously fake. Mind boggling.
  17. It is a standard HG, yeah, so ideal then. Cheers @monkeyseemonkeydo @Mikee - that price sounds good, let me know your PayPal and how much postage to add. I'd suggest Hermes for postage, I sent out loads of car parts recently and they seem reasonable. Cheers mate!
  18. Oh and will a 10 speed SRAM cassette fit?
  19. I honestly have no idea what they're worth - so far I've only found bling Hope kit for £500 a pair, so I wouldn't know what to value these at. I'm looking for a cheap set of wheels, so I wouldn't want to insult you with a low ball offer
  20. Cheers for the help on sizes, chaps. @Mikee they look good for what I need - how much are you looking for?
  21. Decent power to weight still! I tell myself I'll keep mine standard if I get one, other than a nicer sounding exhaust and perhaps a little lower, but no doubt I'll end up tearing it apart and sticking a 2ZZ in at some point - The Eunos gave me the confidence to get stuck in to these kind of projects now
  22. That looks nuts - is yours 1zz or have you swapped a 2zz in? What does it weigh in current form?
  23. OK cool, cheers - they don't need to be anything special, I just want to cover some miles on the road. My current wheels are good for throwing around on trails.
  24. Evening all! I'm looking to buy a set of wheels, ideally second hand and pretty cheap. I'll be sticking fairly slick tyres on to munch some road miles over winter - basically can't be arsed to keep swapping tyres on my current wheels, would rather swap wheels over. Ideally fitted with 160mm rotors and a 10 speed SRAM cassette, but no worries if not, I can source and fit them if need be. They must be bolt through type fit (Not sure of correct terminology, but the fat boi type rather than skinny quick release skewer). Anyone got a set spare after upgrading or whatever?
  25. Good idea, it would be nice to have some housework to do around here in exchange for my pink title
