I have an 18-70 I think, I would sell for about £15 because I don't need it... Let me hunt for it.

Quite well produced, I'm 18 mins in so far. Seems more focused on cinematography than the riding so far, some pretty cool shots and some massive jumps though.

I found out today that my dad passed away a week or so ago. I'm angry because I'll never get answers as to why he was such a terrible father. Over the years I tried a few times to get in contact with him, as did my three brothers. How he could have four kids and not have any interest in any of them baffles me and now that he's gone, I'll never find out why he was how he was. The last physical interaction I had with him was watching him cross the road to avoid me and then a few years later, he joined Facebook and swiftly deactivated his account when he read a message I sent him. He smoked 80 a day when I lived with him (We left when I was about 11), so unsurprisingly it was lung cancer that killed him. Apparently he was in a care home with Alzheimer's too. He pushed everyone away and died alone, which is incredibly sad, but also his own choice. I just have a strange empty feeling, which is very difficult to describe. I've spent most of this year ill, confined to my two bedroom flat. I've survived two rounds of redundancy but soon start furlough and I'm waiting for test results to come back from an emergency hospital appointment I had last week - fair to say 2020 hasn't been kind to me, or anyone really. It's character building, I guess.

Let it all out dude, don't hold back

No project / fun updates from me yet, but my new company car arrived today and I waved goodbye to the 120d...

It seems to be a bit of a random number generator, one month it's 140, the next it's 700.

Depends on the level for me. If there's a game I've just got, I'll watch a pro to get tips on how to play it / be amazed at how good they are. Sometimes the personality wins it too, like Limmy on Twitch - his dry humour is great. But generally I agree, I don't watch it much.
-
I would say it's the opposite for me, I don't understand the enjoyment of running, apart from things like 100m where you try and be faster than everyone else.
-
Ah yes, that reminds me - the Biden sniffing children / women thing. I don't understand that.

"I'm A Celebrity" or any 'reality' TV shows. They're not usually celebrities and for the most part I don't really get the whole 'celebrity' thing anyway, plus it's clearly scripted / fake and even if not, I don't understand the enjoyment of watching other people do normal things - this applies more to Big Brother I guess, as they don't tend to eat nasty insects on that show. I get that lots of people enjoy it, but I don't get why. The dancing shows I don't watch myself, but I understand why people do, because there's a clearly a lot of talent involved. I mean the people that can't dance stand out like a sore thumb, so I can appreciate the talent. Oh and fake prank videos on Facebook - they usually have over 2m views, yet they're obviously fake. Mind boggling.

It is a standard HG, yeah, so ideal then. Cheers @monkeyseemonkeydo @Mikee - that price sounds good, let me know your PayPal and how much postage to add. I'd suggest Hermes for postage, I sent out loads of car parts recently and they seem reasonable. Cheers mate!

Oh and will a 10 speed SRAM cassette fit?
-
I honestly have no idea what they're worth - so far I've only found bling Hope kit for £500 a pair, so I wouldn't know what to value these at. I'm looking for a cheap set of wheels, so I wouldn't want to insult you with a low ball offer
-
Cheers for the help on sizes, chaps. @Mikee they look good for what I need - how much are you looking for?
-
Decent power to weight still! I tell myself I'll keep mine standard if I get one, other than a nicer sounding exhaust and perhaps a little lower, but no doubt I'll end up tearing it apart and sticking a 2ZZ in at some point - The Eunos gave me the confidence to get stuck in to these kind of projects now
-
That looks nuts - is yours 1zz or have you swapped a 2zz in? What does it weigh in current form?
-
OK cool, cheers - they don't need to be anything special, I just want to cover some miles on the road. My current wheels are good for throwing around on trails.
-
Evening all! I'm looking to buy a set of wheels, ideally second hand and pretty cheap. I'll be sticking fairly slick tyres on to munch some road miles over winter - basically can't be arsed to keep swapping tyres on my current wheels, would rather swap wheels over. Ideally fitted with 160mm rotors and a 10 speed SRAM cassette, but no worries if not, I can source and fit them if need be. They must be bolt through type fit (Not sure of correct terminology, but the fat boi type rather than skinny quick release skewer). Anyone got a set spare after upgrading or whatever?

Hiding spam permisson for SMs?

Good idea, it would be nice to have some housework to do around here in exchange for my pink title -
I must have listened to this over a hundred times since it was released in March. Visually pleasing and his voice is great.

I'm a member of the new build hate brigade, but only because of my past exposure to what are probably the cheap and nasty ones. The one we saw yesterday went a long way to converting me as it certainly wasn't the cardboard box type I've been in before. I basically want a bit of character, a decent amount of space and I'd rather not hear my neighbours from two doors away having sex (Detached ideally, as my out of office activities aren't too quiet - well, they have been for about 10 years, but I'd like to change that once I own a place!). I'm fairly open now, compared to a few weeks ago. Today I found a "3" bedroom cottage in the middle of nowhere that I quite like - I say "3", because to get a third bedroom you'd lose the dining room... But I think because of that I can probably low ball them on offer. It would need a fair bit of work outside, but I'm happy to crack on with that. Inside seems pretty sorted, definitely worth a view anyway. The hunt continues

Yeah that's on our list of requirements - quite high up the list. Definitely needs a garage for my next project. I've spent a lot of today looking on Rightmove and there's really not much in our price range, the ones we looked at a few weeks ago have gone already, so stuff isn't hanging around at the moment! The lack of details on some of the listings is frustrating too, a 3D render of a totally different property and no decent description - just a link to register interest... Interest in what? To be honest I thought this part of the process would be easier, I thought the tricky bit was when you start dealing with surveyors and lenders.

There's no "mildly disappointed thread" so this will do We went to view a new build today, which was not on the site we'd be buying from, but was the same flat-pack style house so effectively the same thing... We liked it and it would have been a good match for us. Rang the sales team when we got home and asked for the estimated completion of the site we were looking at and they said building is due to commence in February 2022 Plenty more to look at, but this one would have been good - seems bigger than most 3 bedroom new builds. I'm usually pretty against new builds due to lack of character / being crammed in / cardboard walls, but this one was good in all those areas.

I haven't used heating in over 7 years here, I don't know if insulation is just incredible or the people below us are cultivating some of Jamaica's finest, but most evenings it's 25 degrees in here. We're buying a house early next year, so it'll be quite a shock going back to cold houses and heating bills
