  1. Magura MT7's here, they came on the Cannondale I bought new in 2016. I've replaced the pads twice and bled them twice, other than that they've not needed anything else in four years. I weigh 97kg, so I'm not exactly light and they stop me just fine with one finger on the lever. I'd definitely get them again, maybe even splash a bit extra to get the next ones up, but certainly no complaints here. I'm running 180 front and rear.
  2. That reply was to @isitafox btw, the quote feature shit itself.
  3. But you already can do that? (Aside from street riding technically being illegal in a lot of cases even in normal circumstances) The question of "should you do stuff that might land you in hospital" is still valid of course, but there's nothing stopping you from getting exercise on a bike. I don't know if it's nationwide, but Bristol has closed things like pump tracks, basketball courts, tennis courts etc, but you're still allowed to exercise. As long as you're riding solo I can't see a problem - you can't spread it if there's nobody there to spread it to.
  4. Yeah and he was right, my cardio isn't exactly at peak levels these days
  5. Yeah, but an hour tops a day isn't much compared to my previous lifestyle. Like I said, I have it better than many so I can't complain, it's just a huge change and it's difficult to adjust to it.
  6. I'm a pretty good situation really, compared to many, but it is difficult being stuck in a flat for weeks on end. I'm usually traveling the country, staying away for work once or twice a week. Meeting people constantly etc... Since I got back from Malaysia at the end of Feb I've been sat in the flat. I still have my job, but it's really not an email-based job, so I'm not achieving much. Like I say, others have it way worse, but it's still frustrating.
  7. Yup, I'm going out of my mind slowly. Life has totally changed for me and I'm fed up with it.
  8. Insert eggplant emoji here. That thing is beautiful!
  9. I agree the acting/cheese isn't really necessary and is a bit distracting. The riding is awesome though, he's ridiculously good on a bike.
  10. That data wasn't really intended as an answer to your question, just interesting to compare this year against the other years that didn't have a pandemic...
  11. Since the Office for National Statistics hasn't published all of April yet, it's difficult to finish off these stats, but I ran some numbers from their data just out of curiosity... Here is the data they hold on all UK deaths in the first four months of each year: 2016: 188,999 2017: 192,899 2018: 211,037 2019: 187,775 2020: 207,336 The data for 2020 only goes up to the 17th of April, so it is likely to actually be around 257,000 I would estimate. If we assume it is around 257,000, Coronavirus certainly seems to have taken more of a toll than regular seasonal flu. No conspiracy theories attached to this, I just wanted to see proper figures rather than media hype.
  12. Hard to get a sense of scale from the photos, how long is it?
  13. Could it be some kind of boot scraper / bath? Looks a bit big for it, but I've seen some Victorian scrapers with a little bath... maybe that old metal you found is part of the scraper? Probably not, but it's all I could think of...
  14. I have no idea, but that's a cool find! Amazing to think what's buried around the place.
  15. Awesome, furthest north I've been is Dundee, but I'm hoping to head your direction soon (Well, you know, "soon"). I want to properly explore Scotland, it's a stunning place.
  16. How remote is that location? Looks awesome, I'd love to wake up to that view every day!
  17. But he's got a good, y'know, one of those *points roughly where a brain should be*
  18. Rhetorical question, I assume.
  19. Trump doesn't give a shit about anyone other than himself. How he got into power, I'll never know.
  20. Is it ex-BG or just the same colour? Looks tidy anyway!
  21. Yeah, this is true, but a good place to start is from decent recommendations. Almost everyone has suggested the IKEA Markus so far (Not just on here), so it must be pretty good. If you read reviews of more generic brands on eBay / Amazon you mostly end up with mixed reviews from "AMAZING!" to "WORST THING EVER" on the same chair, so difficult to buy based on that... As soon as the Markus is available in Bristol, I'll be getting that I think.
  22. Can you actually just explain yourself rather than posting cryptic stuff? Denmark is not in the UK and is adopting a slightly different approach to us... as are many countries... what are you getting at?
  23. I had decided to just go for this before everyone above posted replies, there's no stock in my area
