  1. Thanks very much, rides really nice, although I'm still getting used to is and how different you have to ride it compared to my previous stock (Hydroxx LT. You're on a Kabra at the mo aren't you? Go for the change, but get a CF downtube protector as they aren't the thickest tubes. Other than needing a 2 bolt booster (wish it was built in) it's awesome Need to weigh it really.
  2. Had some RimJam Red material and it was awful wear wise in whatever backings i ran them in, a set would last 2 weeks on a smooth rim! Plazmatic CRM/CRVs were awesome as are Heatsink Yellows, however both squeeked a bit even on a smooth rim.
  3. Such an angry angry man. Needs to release the rage and calm himself. Otherwise big riding, gay lycra/orange shoes and a rather dull vid.
  4. Gusseet Jury SLs come out at 403mm Most older rigid forks were 395 or suspension corrected 435ish.
  5. 18:14 with 175mm cranks. Feels nice, a little lighter than 18:15 175mm on a stock. But then it's much more responsive, rear wheel lifts up[ so much quicker. Only had a few rides on it yet, first natural ride today so see how that is. The only place I can see echo improving is by sorting the chain stay length so it's not such a herculean struggle to get the chain on and to have a built in booster (I know why they wouldn't), but still. One thing you do need is a downtube protector, compared to the Hydroxx I was running before the tubes seem a little more prone to denting.
  6. That was awesome, preferred this to the other edit and that was good!
  7. It's just the bracing bar that might need modding if I remember right.
  8. I found you lost a fair bit of support for your foot which was quite uncomfortable. I'd leave them be.
  9. I'm yet to use mine on natural, but it seems pretty good for street. Nothing has compared to a TryAll Stiky in all condictions, just a damn shame I'm on a 24" now. Lightweight and grippy tyres are a bit of a scarcity in that size. With respect to the Intense I don't think it will be much use for anything but dry street or maybe natural and only for mods. Any sort of mud or moisture and I can see it losing a lot of it's grip with those central "rails" designed to lower rolling resistance.
  10. Some massive riding! Drei just looks odd without a beard.
  11. Colour looks looooooovely! Really like that a lot.

  13. Dude are you riding Plymouth this weekend? You can give mine a try if you want?
  14. I've got a TryAll 3D 150x30 and a TopGun 165x35 stem i'm going to try on mine, about 12mm of stackers underneath too. People use the TryAll stem on boths mods and stocks with a similar bb rise so i cna't see why it wouldn't be any good for a 24" Bizarre logic, but i'm sure it makes some sense!
  15. Do you know what type of brake fluid the tank uses? If it's just some form of mineral hydraulic fluid it should be ok, but if it's some form of DOT fluid then it will ruin your Magura. Might want to check before you go chucking it in an already working brake.
  16. You'd definitely be better off getting some backings and putting the material you have in them, much slimmer, neater and stiffer setup. Avid ultimate (of which i have 2 for sale, both with CNC backings) or a shimano Deore/XT vee arms. Slightly slimmer set up than the SD5/7 brakes, so more heel clearance. Lever wise avid SD7 is your best bet (also have one of these for sale) and a linear slic BMX brake cable. Also have some heatsink 4bolt/vee adaptors for sale too.
  17. Nothing at all he's an evidently asture businessman, however i think they're probably more expereinced, qualified and equipped people in the world (sarcasm noted). Maybe a professional camera man? Or at least someone with a HD camera and some sense of where to stand!
  18. 22:18 is fine, ran it for a few years before switching to 18:15. Forks could be 24/7 forks from the Holroyd trials bike?
  19. Yup, brake locked/no chain/no pedal kick. BOOOON!
  20. Been riding with Joe Seddon when he's broken his chain and it's not stopped him, 6foot static boon gaps! I struggle to get about 2 foot.... Good stuff
  21. Looks lovely, pretty damn pimp.
  22. Same, original paintwork was limp. Like it all black though.
