Ben i was in no way having a go or having a dig! I know how much of a perfectionist you are, certainly not a bad thing when it drives you to make the quality of videos you do with the level of riding you can produce. I want 1/10th of the skill you have on both fronts! Shame you're restricted by people being able to film etc. but not a lot you can do, unless you employ someone; but that's not going to happen! Sorry about uni dude, bit of a ball ache. You'll get it sorted. The enjoyment you're getting from riding is reflected in your videos and it looks like you're having a good time May have to roll up to Bristol and give you a hand with the filming some time (and drag Rainbird with me).

Ben your endless search for perfection leads to some rather "disappointing" videos that most of us would be bloody damn chuffed with. Riding was awesome, some of those bunnyhops were huge and you made them look like curbs.... Edit was nice to say it was "thrown" together!
  3. Cornish Seems a bit of a bargain though
  4. I wasn't sure to go for a mod stem or not. It's the same geo as my Hydroxx lt that i loved and this is the same bar and stem set up so i shall see how it goes. Cheers for the compliments Cheers dude, i shall be definitely slinging it up on your scales. Intrigued to see what it weighs up at. Not all that light be nice when yours is done....
  5. i got it from Ben Walsh at Trials Addicts, got it imported in from China. Of course, just not got a grinder at mine. Been using cousts for a few years now and wont be changing. I know right, about time I got a proper size bike again. Hopefully should enjoy riding it a little more
  6. Edit: Frame came courtesy of Ben Walsh at Trials Addicts; http://www.trialsaddict.com/ Loving this bike so decided it deserved some more shiny bits Spec if you're interested: Breath 26" black Koxx karbon Forks- Lovely machined insert courtesy of Josh @ JAF bikes Rockman Rear rim/ Echo Tr rear hub, Rockman cams, Gusset purple 15t cog/ TryAll Stiky Lite Neon front rim/ Echo Tr Hub/ TryAll Shift Reset Ti BB/ZHi Sl Cranks/TrialTech Ti Bash Echo SL FW/ Wellgo Mag\Ti pedals Breath Internal Headset/ Born Stem/ TryAll Karbon bars 05 Maguras with 4 finger levers/ Coust pads/ Echo Sl and TryAll clamps Don't know the weight, geo is roughly 1090 +55 72* New forks, cranks and bb to come. EDIT: Inpulse forks, Zhi SL cranks and a smattering of Ti bolts Second Edit: More shiny bits.
  7. I ran TryAll carbons with a TryAll 3D stem and it was fine for me, but i'm only 5'8, personally i would go for the higher stem and the TryAll bars.
  8. Last i heard of him was when he was riding for ?Orange?
  9. Enjoyed that, some really good riding. Although because there was a group different riders I thought that it could have been a bit longer just to show the different styles a little more.
  10. Stu they're obviously paying you too much mate!
  11. Was it at Alan Jeffries Jardo?
  12. And you called me a Chav for getting CTR!?! To be fair i was going to suggest an Import WRX, they're a whole lot of fun! My Dad had one before he got his newer one, which is much much quieter and less lairy, but a whole much quicker!
  13. Don't be gay!!!!!!! May have a bike by then, i hope....
  14. Don't actually know, as i haven't taken it out yet! I had an old GT xcr yonks ago that i used and abused for more than it was designed for so i'm thinking this should be a whole lot more fun Yeah my brother isn't the most mechanically minded when it comes to bikes i.e. maintenance wasn't his strong point and he got a new bike so this was lying spare at his flat.
  15. Got the frame for free from my brother, needed a complete overhaul, so cost me a little bit in parts; but was a nice afternoons entertainment. Need to extend the forks back to 160mm from 140 and that's about it need to ride it now....
  16. Can't see echo sending him a fork with a pre cut steerer?! at least you're finally getting a set of forks that will work.
  17. Doubt it's the stem. I'm only 5'8 and ran a 150x30 with a 10mm stacker and it was fine. What bike were you riding before? Because it takes a while to get use to a 24" the techniques used are a little different and the bike behaves a bit differently to mods and stocks.
  18. Did you leave it outside, stood with the handbrake on?
  19. http://www.spincycleworks.com/servlet/the-97/titanium-headset-crown-race/Detail This replacement Ti race that the manufacturer says will work with Chris King Threadless headsets is 45 degree, so would suggest it is. But there is no way to be sure unless you ring Tarty as CK use a propriety bearing and so replacements aren't readily available to get the details from.
  20. I'm going to call you out on this and say bollocks. If it made no difference and wouldn't affect your ability to make a claim and get a payout (i.e. invalidating your policy in the event of an accident), then why would you need to declare it in the first place? I appreciate that some companies would not be concerned by modifcations such as this, but others would, to the point that any undeclared modifcations to the car would invalidate the policy. Every insurance company is different and your broker friend doesn't deal with every insurance company.
  21. As Nick said, also the fact the chain is run silly tight won't help.
  22. The Intense 6.6 I had was awesome, ran it with Float 36s and a DHX5 which was a little overkill but made the bike much more happy when pointing down the trail. Only thing i wish it had was ISCG mounts
  23. If you're selling it can i have my cut please? Or shall i inform the Police you're dealing with stolen goods. By the way the Police have a report filed on this bike, with photos and a description of it from when it was nicked from Portsmouth...... If you're in doubt check the frame number on the bb shell, but 90% of the parts are the same as when i had it...
