  1. Mark are they just Hope X2 brakes?
  2. Rockman Kortz 2, should be £660 retail on Tarty. Doesn't come with a rear hub or a rim, so that's more than the 90 quid difference between that and the Koxx. I don't see Rockman having the same background, level of riders and testing involved; no offence Bigman and Ben Savage, but you aren't Vincent, Gilles, Benito, Diaz etc. and I don't see countless world cup podiums being won on a Rockman either. I think Koxx are expensive premium products, but I also think they can justify it.
  3. The bearings will push out the excess grease by themselves as they run in, thinning it stops the excess grease making the pawls sticky and not engaging/releasing properly.
  4. I've got to say for the price, especially compared to last year they're really good value for money.
  5. Prettyful and uber uber pimp!
  6. My Urbans cracked on the maggy mounts after about 4 weeks... i'm now running a disc. But from what i've seen the Trialtech forks seem to be the maggy users fork of choice. I know Andrei Burton seems to rate his ( they've not snapped yet and they've lasted twice as long as a set of urbans last him. I love my Giro Xen, some not too bad deals on CRC for them too. I'd really reccomend trying a range of helmets on as they all fit differently.
  7. Looks all right that mate Certainly seem to be getting on with it.
  8. Very very jealous, looks lovely, want one of these a lot!
  9. Got a text from Luke at 1 last night saying he wants to ride today, i'll text him and see if its still on / he remembers sending it....
  10. Sure a closed system would be ok for trials, it's not like you will generate the amount of heat that a XC or DH rider would.
  11. Really sweet riding, nice mix of street, park and trials. Song is The XX- Islands

    Spain 2011

    Awesome stuff, really enjoyed that
  13. Does indeeds, but i can imagine the cost of the forks alone would be ridiculous anyways.
  14. Holy Hydroforming Batman! Does appear to be Hydroforming for hydroforming's sake. Not massive fan, the point where the front bashplate mount is welded to the DT and the Hyrdoforming forms a corner looks like it could be weak spot; especially as the DT will be under tension most of the time.. But as has been said, green is nice
  15. Ben smile, or i'll come give you a hug ok! Seriously, need to ride soon please. P.s. that was a lickle bit good, could see some bits where you potentially wouldn't be happy, but was otherwise awesome.
  16. Scary..... I guess if manufactured and designed properly they could work quite well. Although I hate to think what the price tag will be. Think they potentially missed a trick by not using a tapered steerer.
  17. They look taper steerer unless my eyes deceive me?
  18. I'm sure you can still do that Adam... sorry if I stepped on your toes.
  19. I see tribalzine have got an article on the Yaabaa stinger and a new frame, the "Bullet" too:
  20. Pretty much this. Ride Portland when it's wet and it gets treated to a wash.
  21. Great idea, crap name. But seriously sounds like a good event, hopefully the turn out will be even better than london as people can camp there.
  22. Max you really aren't the smoothest of riders so that isn't going to help matters at all....
