    Blu-Ray

There just isn't much point in getting a blu-ray with a 720p Tv. Got Sony 42" 1080p 200Hz Tv at home and you really do notice the difference between that and the cheaper 1080p 24" one in the kitchen. 720p Tvs just look awful compared to the good value 1080p screens you can buy now.
  2. Well i wouldn't worry about that, as strictly speaking onl Chris King HD hubs use fun bolts. But they do use allen bolts on the front and a nutted rear axle, so you shouldn't have any problems with them not being held securely in the dropouts. If you aren't worried about the extra maintenance on adjusting cones, cleaning and lubing the bearings then i don't think you'll have any issues.
  3. Yeah but that doesn't mean you had the correct post mount adaptor. If you were using a mount which was intended for a 160front/140rear you would need a +20 adaptor.
  4. Bloody awesome, really refreshing riding, especially from a mod rider The bmx in you is clear to see.
  5. Very much doubt it, if he has a 160rear iso/post mount adaptor (which it looks like) then definitely not.
  6. Do this, the previous adpator is not compatible with your new brake. Unbolt everything that is attached to the rear disc mount of you of your frame and bolt the new brake as it is, in it's place. You really can't go wrong. Trial and error is the worst you can do and it's not like you can brake anything really.
  7. You aren't being particularly realistic though, that's all he was getting at.
  8. Not a scooby then, as this tyre had no hope of going round! Chain? Are you running a Kool rather than a 610HX and it's stretched more?
  9. Because without a halflink the tyre was butted up against the brake booster and the pads were only halfway on the rim, so even with the try-all clamps I'd still have the tyre issue. Have you got the Hydroxx 2 with the rear disc mount or the Hydroxx LT without?
  10. That was awesome, some big stuff, really like your style.
  11. Something a little different. Only thing i don't like is the need for a half link as Koxx designed the frame for 17:14. Some new pics and a few new bits: Excuse the yellow floor, dad decided to paint the garage.... - Frame: Koxx Hydroxx 2 - Fork : Try-All Forxx - Stem: Try-All 3D Silver - Handlebar : TryAll Carbon - Front Brake: Hope Mono Trial 175mm Carbon blade. - Rear Brake: Magura HS33 2004 (Fresh Products blade, Coust pads from Mr Coustellier) - Brake Clamps: TryAll - Pedals: Wellgo MG-1 Ti - Cranks: Try-All ISIS 175mm, TryAll Symetric bash - Front Freewheel: Echo Sl - Rear Sprocket: Zhi 15t - Chain: KMC 610HX - Front Hub : Try-All CNC - Rear Hub: Zhi SL copy, Tryall cams - Rims: Rockman Hole rear, TryAll round hole front - Tyres: TryAll sticky lite Have a TryAll H 28h hub on a TryAll hole rim when I get some replacement spokes Geometry Wheelbase: 1084mm Chainstay Length: 381mm BB Rise: +55mm Should be around the 9.2/9.1KG mark, will be a little lighter with the new front wheel. Rides a lot nice with the Tryall bars and the new rear tyre. With the new tyre and clamps i've just about been able to lose the half link, although it's still bloody close. Considering a KMX K810 chain as it'll stretch a little more that the 610HX and offer a little more clearance?
  12. Awesome stuff, nice to see something positive has come of this.
  13. Dave are you still off the weed? Because the paranoia is still pretty extreme. It's no different to the other extremist bull that's been mentioned.
  14. Bolted trials rear hub like a Hope Pro2, a fixed rear hub such as a Echo TR or a Chris King HD would fit into your frame with out any issues at all.
  15. If i wasn't working i'd be game. Damn you!
  16. Was riding with Rowan today in Bristol and he certainly seemed to be enjoying his hex!
  17. Weapon! Kenny owns, huge amounts of skill and control. Sweetly edited too.
  18. Guess you don't want that rear hope then? Pics are awesome you monster!
  19. Hardly a fair comparison, slightly different quality frames from the outset. One cost about 30 quid to make and the other certainly didn't.
  20. Rang up Hope this morning and they said they'd happily make a 175mm mono trial rotor, wasn't going to be anymore than a normal sized one either which surprised me. Hope's excellent customer service again.
  21. Cheers mark, Luke and I managed to bash our heads together hard enough to come to that conclusion eventually. Any ideas where i'd find a 175mm rotor? Or is it the choice of new forks or getting a #5 calliper and 155 rotor, which as Luke has asked i'm not overly keen on.
  22. Ben i've decided myself and Luke are going to have to come up and do a ride/film weekend in Bristol with you, it's been bloody ages and it's really good to see you've got the motivation and inspiration back
