What are you using to record the clips then Jack?
  2. How are you finding those pedals?
  3. That was really good, some ballsy stuff in there. Wish i could ride with the same level of confidence in your ability and technique you evidently have.
  4. I would put it down to you not having confidence in your brake set up, can't remember the last time I had to use 2 fingers whilst riding my MTB, probably back when I had vee brakes and it was wet. Decent brake set up will fill you with confidence. I know when I don't trust my rear brake I just can't ride to my full abilities, it holds you back.

Exactly what I was going to suggest.
  6. That was awesome, nice to see how trials and your riding developed over the years; enjoyed that.
  7. Some of their low end stuff and the carbon kit was, but as far as I knew most of their kit was made in house in Vancouver. Testing and design certainly was. There are rumours that Shimano may become involved, if not someone will pick them up as the brand itself is too valuable. Shame as the kit from them over the last few years has been really good. Linky
  8. Even then you got half of what you were saying wrong! Switching to a rear free hub would be ideal, what cranks are you running at the mo, i'm guessing they're screw on type? Think 18:13 would be the best option, I ran it on my 24" and it felt lovely. Didn't inspired used to do a 23T ring and bash set up?
  9. I used a Fat Albert and a normal tube and it was fine, pretty grippy too
  10. Think the only exception to the rule I've seen is Rich Pearson, can wheelswap like a beast and kicks a bit, Rainbird does a little kick too.
  11. Remove the non-drive cup, pull off the axle spacers. Gently clamp in a vice by the drive side cup and tap the axle out. Sorted. Need to change my drive side cup as the tool interface died when i tired unscrewing it on one of the freezing days a few months back. Where are you getting a spare cup from?
  12. Very clean, light weight steel frame with modern geo. Nice. The rear end does look anorexic even by steel frame standards, how stiff is it?
  13. Think if you got a hope mono trial with a 180mm rotor on there it would certainly be up to it. Although i'd be more inclined to get a decent Vee set up.
  14. I'm not atm, I've got some I was going to use, but I've found with the fun bolts they aren't needed.
  15. With the half link and the chain tight there is only 5-6mm of clearance between the frame and tyre. So I'd defo need a different tyre for it to clear. Maybe the Kenda tyres are extremely deep, but I swear I bought it because it was lower profile than the RubberQueen I ran before. Meh,we'll see; certainly can't afford new clamps and a tyre atm.
  16. The clamps would be ideal if i didn't have to buy a different tyre too. Might look into it if/when the half link dies or the tyre wears out. Glad you like it, the matching forks are nice. Cheers dude. Fair point, never been a massive fan of maxxis tyres (apart from on a DH bike). Might look into it though.
  17. It was well produced, but didn't really do anything to show off your riding ability.
  18. They aren't made in that colour any more hence the price. And that was a for a second hand one in not amazing condition, non original headset cap etc

  20. You want it as close to the disc as possible with out it rubbing.
