  1. It must be a single ply to be running that high a pressure and still be pinching, either that or you are as far removed from smooth as is possible.
  2. Some awesome stuff in there. Really enjoyed it, apart from the questionable eastern European hair do....
  3. Car sorted now financially f**ked for the forseeable future! Can i do the next month on £250?
  4. I dont think the booster would make that much of a difference when used witha Zenith, i would say the pads are the first thing to change, even without a booster you'll notice a better performing brake with some decent pads and a well set up brake. I guess you're using a smooth rim? Cleaned it recently? Personalyl i'd Personally i would buy some trials specifc pads intended for use on a smooth or lightly grinded rim, something like heatsink yellows are awesome, clean your rim with alcohol or even water and a clean rag, or grind it. Set up everything perfectly square and see where you are and if things ahve improved. Boosters tend to not have much effect on bite in my experience, but improve hold.
  5. Magura for ultimate bite and hold with the right set up. However a well set up disc can be awesome and give better modulation, i found when i had a BB7 id was just a bit too tempremental.
  6. Try and get some Pro2 hubs from ebay or pink bike and then pick up some rims to go with them, personally i'm not a fan of the Halo stuff, i'd go for some spank rims, tehy seems really good and get great reviews and they;re even in the colours you want.
  7. I honestly don't know i may be about this Monday or maybe Saturday, not sure yet; want to get up onto Dartmoor if you're game. It has been far too long, Although Andrei has buggered off to Europe so no banter in the van this time. I'll let you know.
  8. But Si you've only made one post in the whole time you've been here you fool! Granted you may have been off shooting people or whate ver you do but this is no excuse to neglect the forum Hate to say it mate, but make a few posts and replies that are constructive, informative and well written and you'll get validated soon enough Have a vote from me though
  9. I wouldn't it just makes you look a bit special as it makes no sense.
  10. With the same length lever blade the newer shapped Maguras have no more power. When modified they are less prone to cracking, but still a weaker design more liable to crack and break than the older design. The main advantage is the greater choice of after market lever blades, but really thats it in my opinion.
  11. Oh wow, that's amazing. Misinformed or what!?
  12. Last years Avid Elixirs were a little dodgy reliability wise, but the 2010 range seem to be OK in that respect but still work brilliantly, saying that 2011 bits will be out soon. The latest Shimano XT stuff is awesome and I'd strongly recommend them too. Personally I have Avid Code callipers and Juicy Ultimate levers (what I took off my DH bike and put on my trail bike) and they really are too powerful for the riding I do now, but it is quite nice knowing you've got it if you need it. If you can wait and can afford it the latest Shimano XTR trail brakes are supposed to be amazing.

Love the lil post line, some good stuff.
  14. Several posts you've made haven't been overly well thought out. How many people do you know inch count side hopping a gap? I'm guessing 3 foot is about right. Although some people *cough* me *cough* can't sidehop for toffee.
  15. A4 tdi avant, BMW 320D or I am potentially going to look at a Seat Leon Cupra tdi. Whatever it'll be a tractor and big enough
  16. What do you mean is it stock? Stock in trials bike terms, 26" bikes; so no? Do you mean in the way it rides?
  17. Bike painted, car sold.... now to find an old mans car for the tour
  18. Got to vouch for the Fresh Products blades, run them front and rear and definitely the comfiest levers out.
  19. Indeeds sir, need to bring you that chainset anway. Colour looks much nicer in the flesh, nice and metallic
  20. Had this for a lil while, hardly ride it at the moment :$ Just finished painting it up Ford Electric orange, same as a Focus ST, I like it a lot, few bits to change still yet. Big thanks to Rowan and Luke Rainbird for helping me out. Hope you like.
  21. Looks pretty damn nice, hope you enjoy it as much as i've enjoyed mine
  22. Exactly and if you're parking at temple meads then about 100 meters further out of town there's the road which follows the river which has a shed load of parking.
  23. Unlike their hubs apparently (BASHER).
