  1. When were they ever hand made? Still a million times better than that Barracuda, not really as fair comparison as the frame from the 24/7 would cost more than the whole Barracuda bike.
  2. Got to agree mate, dark hair, dark eyes and catsuit.... mmm win!
  3. Well that's ok then! Just remember seeing Scandium tubesets on XC hardtails coming in around the £500-800 range and i'm sure that they would be produced in greater numbers than a trials frame. Just have to wait and see then. Is that dual disc or magura braked bike?
  4. Are you saying you've put the old seal and spring in the new seal and spring in the new lever body wasn't right?!
  5. Scandium tubesets on a trials bikes?! Wow, i mean on lightweight XC bikes but on a trials bike, very interesting. Aren't Scandium bits usually horrifically expensive?!
  6. Awesome stuff, really really impressive! Almost made trials cool.... lol Get a decent quality version on vimeo so we can appreciate it in all its glory and download it
  7. The answer to this problem is; set up your brake correctly, buy some new pads and walk down hills if all you have is rim brakes.
  8. Well thats a bit nice now isn't it!
  9. Pretty beasty! Not as comfortable looking as on a 20" but for obvious reasons.
  10. Not a massive amount to be honest, there are a few smaller spots but the majority is around the centre of the town; all within 10 minutes ride of each other.
  11. Myself, Josh Kydd, Ben Moore and Greg Martin ride Taunton pretty regularly. Greg rides Yeovil every now and again too. Taunton has a fair amount of decent riding so certainly worth a trip over. If not there we ride Bristol, Dartmoor, Plymouth, Westbay and Portland quite regularly too, so there's lots of riding to be done.
  12. I'm running some reds in CNC backings at the moment without using any glue and all seems to be ok.
  13. You tart! Looks good though mate shall have to have a bounce when i see you next.
  14. Well i guess i'm in. Although i don't think there's any point in finishing the day at Portland, there's more than enough riding for a day at both spots...
  15. Sweet vid love watching the top guys in action, Benito shredding; never new Alu gripped rocks so well!
  16. Hate to say it but using Tar will not make the brake work to its best ability! Get a decent Maggy on the rear, decent grind and some Rock blue pads and you'll be sort, lever blades area personal preference; if your friends have different brake set ups try them and see what you prefer the feel of. On the front I'd go for an Avid BB7 good power, hold and modulation.
  17. I wouldn't say the quarries at Portland would lend themselves too well to DH/Freerideers doing drops, don't think i've ever seen anyone apart from trials riders down there.
  18. Welcome to the world of trials, say good bye to your life Check out Trashzen it's got loads of useful videos for moves and techniques, should give you an idea
  19. sweet as a nut mate, didn't realise Neil was still alive let alone riding!
  20. Pretty sure they're DOT fluid if my memory serves me right, they aren't that bad a brake really.
  21. The heatsink reds i have are quieter than most pads but still make noise, snowies i've run on a grind have been very loud. I wouldn't bother running a booster on your forks, i run Rockman forks with Rock blue pads and they're horrifically loud; even though its probably the stiffest set up i've ridden.
  22. Thats a pretty bold sweeping statement... Sure you're not just a poor excuse for a mechanic?
