I'm biased but I would say try the Lapierre Spicy, I have a Team version and it's incredible. The Santa Cruz Bronson is the poster boy of the current Enduro crop, I've not tried one but it looks a little short to me. The Enduros themselves do look great and are very popular. At the cheaper end you've got the Nukeproof Mega AM which is a blast. The Norco range is a popular as are some of the current Rocky Mountain carbon bikes.Yeti Sb66…YT industries Capra (hell of a lot of bike for the money - if you can get one). The Intense carbines and Tracers look incredible. I don't like them but a lot of people like the Canyons, but I suppose the benefits with you working in a bike shop won't be so relevant.

Well in that case I certainly wouldn't chose a bike based on it's drivetrain….what appeals to you bike wise at the moment? What sort of stuff will you be riding? How much travel are you thinking about? Do you want an angry enduro bike or a light XC ripper?
-
Tonnes, and do you mean just drivetrain, or brakes as well?
-
I wouldn't worry after all the marks are often awarded by jaded lecturers and examiners who haven't been active in their field (if at all) for some time…..
-
In Edinburgh? Surely not! Round your day maybe….. Were the Clan always parking in Leith?
-
No one has told me how long the ol' fusing takes - so I'm guessing a few days before it's at least tacky

Happened on one of the secret trails at Glentress, a really rooty, natural one. It'd been raining a lot so it was a case of slippin' and slidin' your way down, but I was doing multiple runs on it getting a feel for it. They haven't told me….I'm awaiting a call from the fracture clinic as I left the hospital with them telling me it was fine (later to be rung and told in fact it wasn't) so I'm going to stay off the mountain bike this weekend but i'll start riding again next weekend. Only way to improve it is to use it, and as they haven't told me any better…….

Yeah do both those things, a good few demos as well add there's so may good bikes out at the moment. Next year is going to be better with a lot more bikes having 1x11 on them. If I were you I'd just try and get it sold in one. Might be a push with everyone getting excited about 27.5". I had to just sell my frame and forks in the end and move all the parts over. I didn't get too many idiots on Pinkbike, no worse than here really. I broke my shoulder on Sunday crashing the Spicy. Just went a bit hot in to a section pedalling in to a corner and hit a stump hidden behind some grass and it sent me flying.
-
Do it! Have a year ragging your Cotic and then get something a bit more up to date. When I'm riding again we'll have to go out for a blast. You can have a shot of my Spicy and see what you think to the whole big wheel, enduro-hype thing.

Not sure if anyone is interested but this became available: http://dirtmountainbike.com/news/the-legendary-sprung-videos-1-4-are-now-available-to-watch-online-for-free.html

Have you seen someone do it though? I mean really had a look….. What is it? I know it's not particularly mature but I have such a deep seated embarrassment whenever I see it.

Doesn't everyone drive shit cars in Australia as there's no MOT or something? Could be why. Just tell em you make a mean coffee. Australians love a good coffee, heck they think they invented it.

Not really out of context then…as you are making a statement which boils down to the debate of "what sort of bicycling does bicycle rider Danny MacAskill do?" Thanks for the congrats….those 3 lines took it out of me, probably as much as your three lines did, however I don't go in for the "everyone's a winner" so forgive me for not congratulating you. haha. Never accused you of being a TGSist so please don't feel the need to defend yourself. I honestly couldn't care, nor mind whatever sort of riding people do, it's all being silly on bikes*. *apart from Uni-trials. What the f**k is that? haha
-
I broke my shoulder on Sunday, which is annoying as I like riding bikes.
-
I know you tend to post matters of those of a 12 year old girl, but quite seriously….you're asking that question. I think you're actually making a statement despite the question mark, but either way has spending your nights in conflict over what text based medium is preferable to type "haha" at the end of every sentence has made you loose sight and any grip of normality. I find both the question and the statement beyond ignorant, however in your case I don't think you're doing it just to get a rise out of people. Watch any single one of his videos….quite simply, that is trials. Question answered. I haven't made that comment purely because I'm clearly infatuated with Danny, it's just a repeated statement that is so banal and without any justification that it tires to see it time and time again.
-
Weren't you born almost midway through the 90's? Not sure in what world that would constitute old?
-
That thought did spring to mind at first but from the commentary it doesn't sound like any lives were lost, people just moved away and it got forgotten. I'm glad to see another Dave Sowerby edit with Danny, they're far more exciting in my opinion. P.S. Turquoise bike?
-
Someone probably paid before you….anyway it's not like near enough £100 is amazing for some old Rebas (they might have been too short as well). What bike is this for anyway?
-
If someones got money and willing to pay then and there, they get the goods….. if you waited around for all the people that said "ah yeah i'll pay you in a couple of days" you'd never sell anything. Shopkeepers don't refuse sales because someone was browsing earlier that day and looked like they might make a purchase.

You could argue that the ignoring is part of the chase in the long run (if you're at all times hoping for a relationship as an end result). -

That's it guys, the real advice right there. 5 years + of ignoring them, then you're in there! -
Nah, I was just being a dick as you spelt it 'tire'. In that new BSD donna squeak edit they got called out for not using the word 'tyre'. I've no doubt the Conti's will be great….I use the Holy Rollers at 45 PSI + so have no issues, but like you say using them for trialsy stuff is a real compromise. They'll look pretty damned sweet on your Arcade. PS, do you use DH tubes currently in your Holly Rollers?
-
You've been watching too many BSD vids pal. You've tired of tyres it seems

20 seconds in……oh so you're rhyming the end of every line, like a "really good" poem. Turn off. (Ironically from my 20 second viewing I imagine this is what they're alluding to).
