  1. Ultimately it would become porous and your diff would leak. Wouldn't catch fire or explode - it would just be really shit at being a sealant.
  2. Don't worry bro, (and the rest of the TF holding hands brigade that jumped in to defend you), I was just asking if you spoke English as a second language in a rather rude way - it's just obvious you're not fluent. More power to you though, your English is more than legible and I can barely speak one language
  3. So in two days, I've failed two exams. f**k CFD. f**k vibrations. f**k my inability to work.
  4. Sorry I'm really confused, is English your second language? I was under the impression you were a bit of special, but I suppose you can't be if you're a good electrician.

  6. Well, I handed in my 3rd year report after minimal analysis and a 48 hour write up period. Just opened it again today to draft out the poster I need for my viva tomorrow and it is embarrassing. I don't know why I thought I could bash it out in 2 days, but I couldn't. Worst part is my analysis mostly focussed on noise as opposed to signals, so I'm going to get ripped apart tomorrow and ultimately fail the year. wooooooooooooo
  7. My dad's favourite joke also happens to be one of the worst I've ever had to listen to I'd recently moved house for a new job and had to walk to the train station to go to work. After a few days of walking to work, I'd started looking around, as you do, and noticed through a window of a house, a woman beating her child with a loaf of bread. Naturally, I thought this was quite strange, but ultimately ignored it and carried on to work. A few days later I noticed the same thing happening again; the same woman beating her child with a loaf of bread. I decided to keep an eye out when going to work and noticed that every morning, the woman was there, beating her son with a loaf of bread. At this point, I was considering going to the house and questioning the woman's actions, as they were very strange, and frankly unacceptable. So one morning, I was walking to work, peered through the window and there she was, beating her child, but with a cake! This was enough now, so I walked up to the door and rang the door bell. The woman answered, and I told her her my story, "I've been walking past your house and everyday you're beating your child with a loaf of bread and now today, you're beating him with a cake! Why are you doing this?", to which she curtly replied "It's his birthday!"

  9. Quite the achievement to be world famous in the time before youtube, before google videos and before widespread ADSL connections http://www.eengoedidee.nl/videoz/download.cgi?mem_id=105619&fil_unique=QyGGtdTM228AABjsKdE
  10. All of this chat is making me excited to get the bike out of the garage when I get home. It's a bit sad that it's getting old school now, complete with the coveted Zoo Riser bars and objectively the best pads ever on the back - Plazmatic CRMs. And the original chain from 2005...
  11. In on T-Pro reps It's still in my garage, but with some tinkering done to it since. Just had to log onto an old as shit photobucket account to look for that, and found this gem worthy of the lurkers topic. TF ***! e: as if 'and strawberry conserve' is still filtered

    Films!?

I enjoyed Oblivion. I'm not sure if it was because I was trapped on a plane when I was watching it, but it was quite enjoyable just because it was different. I felt the end didn't really come together as it should have done though. That was definitely the weakest part of the film for me.

    Films!?

Mate, were you even watching the film? These were by no means points that were glossed over I watched Mr.Nobody last night. It was very odd for the first 20 minutes, and that slowly settled to just odd by the hour mark and then flat-lined/you were acclimated to it. I still feel like I watched a very strange film, but if you can pay attention to a film for 2h40m I'd highly recommend it. It was an interesting story, was quite captivating and I guarantee you've not watched a film like it, so it's worth a shout if you've run out of films to watch.
  14. I'm saying you used your left hand to press 'take photo' on your phone with a multisecond delay. Then you pinned it bewtween your chin and your chest and waited for the profit. If it was any different to this, you hold your fork like a spastic. Though that wouldn't be surprising considering there's a pancake served with that meal...

  17. Strangely, I knew you'd be the first to help! I'll have a look into those, cheers
  18. Point 4 seems a bit...pathetic? Also this seems like the best place to ask. For my dad's birthday I'm going to make him a mixtape (yes, one of those big square cassettes!!) for his newish toy. It's a C3Corvette and I wanted some related music to go with it to complete his mid-life crisis. So it's a bit of a piss take but I was thinking mostly US rock, anyone got any suggestions? Pic for content
  19. Turns out the double sided part started a couple more inches down the roll...
  20. I think WHSmith's are trolling me big time and this isn't really double sided tape
  21. f**king love that van. Rescue rooms BBQ usually gets all of my money too. There should be a law about making nice smells around drunk people
  22. Haha, that is definitely not unique to Solidworks. I use NX at uni, and though I've never made an assembly as complex as yours, NX does quite the job at turning assemblies inside-out for the most baffling reasons. Here I am on TF, trying to avoid the work I've got to do very soon and you're here with your CFD! I've got to get analysis done on an Ahmed car body for next week, so I'll have a cock swinging competition and upload my superior simulation
  23. I can't find a quick and easy way to display it in a way that you'd want to. But if you plot both data sets on the same graph, right click on one data set -> format data series and plot it on secondary axis. Then you can change the chart layout/add chart element and add a secondary x axis and just change the x axis for the second line if it needs changing. It'll look ugly and won't give you the comparison you're after though. You might have better luck by adding 0 value/same value data points (just meaningless placeholders) at the ends of one of the data sets so both start and finish across the same time scale. Then plot two separate graphs with a clear fill and lay them on top of each other in a word document. Bit fiddly but they'll have the same timescale ratio. Excel graphs really suck dick
  24. I'm with the crowd that didn't really gel with Breaking Bad. I can only assume a lot of tension and drama was 'artificially' forced in end of season cliffhangers, because I started watching on Netflix and rarely found myself needing to watch more of it. The only two emotions it really brought out was my desire for Skylar to be run over horribly slowly by an articulated truck, followed by Walt having his balls shot off so he could stop being such an unredeemable fanny. I found the best stretch of the programme were the bits On the other hand, the fact I was watching Dexter alongside it might have something to do with my opinion, I found that much more enjoyable and far more addictive. The season layouts started to get a bit repetitive (I'll be honest, there's not a lot for a serial killer programme to do) but it had me hooked until the end! I'll have to get a reminder from my dad, but apparently one of those guys often played with me when I was a little 'un and kept trying to give me beer. The lot of them are nutjobs though.
