That looks great. Absolute classic! Slowly building up my 04' Python, got hold of some NEW white stripe Echo Supa tyres the other day

Probably because there is no need. I mean what's the point? Besides, try explaining to Hope and Chris King that it would be worth their while to make hubs for such a drivetrain.

Gearing: Ask yourself if there is any point in using such a small sprocket on the front. It doesn't have any advantages at all and theoretically puts more strain on the chain. If you want a small bashring, a 16T will cover an 18T sprocket easily. I'd go for 18:17 or 16:15 (a bit heavier) but then that's down to personal preference. Chain: KMC's are ok, KHE are stronger. If you get annoyed by stiff links, get a KMC. Weight: 10,5kg is light-ish. It's possible to build up a bike weighing about that which will be almost as strong as a 12kg Deng build. Just make sure you don't shed weight on things like the rear wheel.

How old is this? 117cm isn't that much for pro riders, wasn't Tra attempting to sidehop over 140cm?

Bikes like this one make me regret that I will never be capable of riding a mod properly Agree with the blue rims not fitting too well.

Why oh why did it have to take so long until somebody realized that's exactly what riders want?

That's very well made. A bit heavy though?

Danny Kearns Birthday Ride - Leicester 24th May 2008
Greetings replied to Danny Kearns's topic in Videos
I really enjoyed that, well edited Dan! -
Wow, you're riding better already! See? Mods are really useless I love your riding, looking forward to some new vids. Cool lines too! You need a booster though. edit: downloadable link please?
-
I'd change the bars to some 221Ti risers, the bike will feel much better. That is unless you're a midget i guess Very good looking though, love these Montys.

Installing C&C3 on my laptop and off to bed with it

Yeah but a mod wheel is pretty much bang on 50cm, so it doesn't really matter in your case As an example, I recently saw a similar display name on a MSN-like service from a local rider - sidehop 116cm (55") Whatever makes him feel good I guess

I've got a Nano 1st gen, been using it for 2 years now. It gets about 6 hours of trials use and 15 hours of ordinary use each week. There are already a few problems with it like it will sometimes crash or the lock won't turn off but otherwise it's fine. However, it hasn't taken much physical abuse so I guess there shouldn't be anything wrong with it.

haven't seen a vid of you for ages really good riding, a bit too little variation but i enjoyed it none the less you're getting quite controlled and fairly smooth now, big moves

Haha was wondering where I heard that "fact" about crab sticks.... edit: This is interesting:

Partz, using inches in the UK is ok but how gay are riders from Europe who measure sidehops in inches because they think it's cool.
-
Front disc for quiet stopping power that doesn't require any maintenance Rear maggie because it's compact and powerful... I'd run dual discs if I didn't ride trials

Jerry Ropero & Denis The Menace - Time To Turn Around (Full Vocal Mix) and Junior Jack - Dare Me probably my all time favorite tracks, they're so "summery", positive and remind me of various great trips I've done, great parties I've been to and so on. I could listen to those two non stop. Rosin Murphy - Dear Miami is the exact oposite, reminds me of Michelle and makes me really depressed. It was her favorite track, I used it in a trials vid I made after we broke up. I try to avoid this song as much as possible, haven't watched that vid once because it just makes me really really sad. Got to agree with Simon on Savage Garden, lots of their songs remind me of childhood. Same applies to Chumbawubma.

Somehow I don't believe these bars are made of 7075. They're way too heavy, 370g is the weight of average 6061 bars. The only explanation I can see is that they are over-engineered, or Neon isn't exactly honest about the alu used. Would be interested to see what the Tart has to say about this.

Teenage Angst Communal Agony Aunt Thread
Greetings replied to Has anyone seen my shoe?'s topic in Chit Chat
If you really want to be with her, don't rush things. My last relationship fell apart because we didn't know each other well enough and it all happened too quickly. Cost me one of the most amazing girls I ever met. Ignore her for a day or two, if she wants to see you, tell her you'd like to but don't have time now. Maybe next time when you want to go out with her, she'll appreciate it instead of making up lame excuses. -

There are two things you can do, either insist on meeting her which is highly destructive in such a relationship, or ignore her. Girls love getting attention and take that attention for granted. If you start ignoring her in a "pleasant" manner, chances are that she will realize what's missing and she'll actually want you back. Wait for her to do the next move and if she doesn't, just give her a miss -
Been trying to nail 8 pallets for a few days now, getting quite close. Might do it next weekend

That's just the overall impression I get from reading your posts. Indeed none of the ones in that link are rude or insulting but I really couldn't be bothered to read through xx pages to find some that prove my point. And even then, what is rude to me might not be rude to someone else. It's just my opinion and I doubt anybody cares really.

It's just a forum, either you come on here and have fun, or do something else if you're pissed off by those who run this place. I also preferred how it was run a year or two ago but maybe too many irresponsible members have joined since and it was necessary to appoint new mods. They might be doing their job but they're also among the most cocky and negative members of this forum. I remember when Tomm was a senior, he was a really helpful and kind guy, now many of his posts I'd class as rude or insulting. Not to mention OBM, he's in a league of his own But hey, it's just a forum and if somebody really cares, there's always the ignore button. It's still better than a local forum I use, in which you can get banned for disagreeing with a mod

It does. Maybe try some natural, learn new tricks (not trials related) and start doing lines. It's boring doing the same tap over and over again, but it's not boring to tap a wall, drop with a full rotation and sidehop back up as quickly as possible. That's just an example, but it will keep you busy and make you try harder.
