I just got a "These riders are blocked entry to ride in this video because they ride for Onza. Thanks, UK Team Selectors." :) Nah, shitting you. DL'ing now :ermm:

Nah, just a coaster brake. Freecoaster = no engagements when riding backwards :P Same as when you snap a chain gapping with any hub, dullard :P

Hmm. Seen some 'worrying' pics of the Honigs after not much use. I really dig the whole Heatsink shit, it's just those "Tested to perfection" and "extensive testing" tags on the website that I feel are misleading. The way the Konigs were basically marketted as a finished, final product was shady, considering they're now changed. Seeing as they had a fairly high price tag on them anyway, having them cost that much only for them still to realistically speaking being in the late testing phase was a bit sketchy. I know Steve's in a rock/hardplace style dilemma where he needs money to test which he has to get from selling product, but it still kinda irks me.

But then how would we see the musical mastery of McFly? :ermm: +1 for the Shooting Stars quote though. My friends got one of those f**kin' gash orange Spy balls in his. It's their 10cm diameter (or something ridiculous) dust cap type things. He also had 6" triple clamps on a hardtail rated to take 100mm travel max. single crown forks. Says a lot, really. I currently have a rocking electrical tape combo going on with my BMX wheels, 'cos I was bored in the bike shop. White on one side every 4 spokes, red on the other offset. Tech :)

Nice bike James, good to see it all built up :) Let me know how the Elementary goes too. I bought one before, but the steerer toob was a bit too short. Gutting! Anyway, watch out with the rear V-Monster, they're not shit hot from my experience. Wear pretty quick, and I managed to utterly f**k mine's sidewalls with relative ease. They just tear up and get scuffed grinding, and htey're pretty thin. I managed to pinch so bad hanging up on a hop->manual up a 5-set that it tore two holes in the tyre. Classy. Anyway, no new pics of mine yet. Got my new Shadow Conspiracy Lite stem on (had to knurl the bugger with a hacksaw - a.k.a. "Get a hacksaw and cut lines in it" - 'cos my Beringer bars have got waffer knurling so they slip easy). Michael - nice bike too! Are those the 2004 41Thermals? Look like they've got the older stickers on? If you want the 'new' stickers in either red, white, green or yellow (and maybe blue too?) I've got the stickersheet from mine left over, so I'm sure I could spare you some of the fancy-ass nice new stickers :ermm: P.S. James - phoned you guys up on Saturday, told someone I'd spoken to you 'bout the wheel shiz. Gotta wait 'til Wednesday (they guessed) 'til the red Hazard would be in. Had to have it in 48H which sucks, just 'cos they won't have any 36H rims in in chrome for a month or so.

I think the whole point is is that there's a difference between trying to find riders at your level so you can see how you're progressing, then there's being a shit by laughing at them for not being as good as you. Everyone learns stuff differently, and everyone has a different set of circumstances that'll contribute to them being able to do X but not Y. In fairness, compared to, say TRA or someone, you're going to be utterly shit. That doesn't really give, to use him as an example again, TRA any reason to 'laugh at you'. Everyone is a beginner at some stage, so to ostracise (f**k spelling...) them and laugh at them for having to go through what we've all been through is shit. For the first year and a half I rode, I had a f**king nail of a bike and I rode alone. I didn't even imagine that you could hop to back wheel up a wall 'til I'd been riding for about a year, and it took me ages to learn how to do it too. For the four and a half years I've been riding, it'd probably be fair to say I'm not as good as some people who've been riding for the same time as me or less, but no-one's been in my situation, so it's impossible to compare. Laughing at someone because they can't hop _ _ inches or drop _ _ ft is completely pointless anyway, and if you feel the need to do that maybe you're riding for slightly the wrong reasons? The whole reason is to get a sense of satisfcation out of learning something new, and meeting new people and so on. This doesn't include laughing at people who aren't as good as you. In that there's always someone out there better than you, you're never really in a position to be big-headed about your own riding.

Look in the Skatepark thrad in the FAQ.

There's a difference between being a good driver, and driving fast, you do realise? Anyone can just rip along then jam on the brakes, slam into a corner, then rip out. There's no skill in that at all. The only 'skill' is finding a fast car that you can do that in. Clappity clap. Being a good driver is about being smooth. My Dad is an advanced driving and riding instructor (set both of the schools up himself, and got trained to train traffic police for high speed pursuits and so on). I don't think we've ever ripped up to a corner, slammed the brakes on, turned in, then just razzed out, yet he's still ridiculously quick when he needs to be. You just sound like everyone else who's just passed their test, all eager to just drive fast everywhere and see how far they can push it. The only difference is is that you've learnt heel and toeing. Woo. A gear change doesn't really elevate you above everyone else, you realise?

Static, you mean?

I don't really get the beef with Peugeots either, they seem pretty awesome. Gav Bedford's is retardedly quick, whatever the Hell he's got B) "Interesting" drive back to a friend's house near Bridgend with him :)
-
Skater here has it, it's just where a lump forms from repeated knocks, kinda like how you get lumpy shin bones after pedal slaps? It does just grow out eventually, so it'll heal in time B) I was talking to someone on here about it. They said they had a similar thing and it was just fluid behind the kneecap, and they just had it drained via syringe. Eithe way, I'm bitching out of going to the doctors just 'cos I don't want surgery either :-

Joe, I've had to delete 55 posts one by one from Mike Hardman's thread. Do you know how that makes me feel? :- Anyway, I don't wanna have to delete shit from this, so just shut the f**k up! Dave obviously doesn't give a shit about what you think about it, so don't bother wasting your time arguing with him about it B) Not least 'cos it'll mean I'll have to delete more shit which I really, really don't want to have to do :)
-
Dave, there's such a thing as "Ignore user" on T-F :)
-
Handbags on MSN, ladies :)

If it makes you feel any better Danny, I might be moving to Chester :)"

GT-85 and a rag. What's so hard to understand about that? Works for every sticker :)
-
Might be a little harsh, but from all the stories/pics I've seen of Pete, he's not the best rider in the world, so this desperate hunt for a mahoosive back tyre/rim combo seems a bit pointless. Ah well, to each their own.
-
They do seem to. Just to check - with your knees, do they just feel 'tight', almost? Sorta not really stiff, but not really free moving, and kinda achey when you bend them loads after, say, sitting down? Anyway, yeah, they seem to be helping :( I'm using the Somerfield High Dose "1 a day" capsules which seem to be pretty hardcore. £1.98 for a months worth, which ain't bad...
-
Same shit with me. Welcome to Cod-liver-oilsville. I've got these ones that are in little capsules, so you don't have to taste the fishy oily mankiness, but get all the goodness. Winner \o/

Those drops and ups are bigger than Jesus. You're the only guy on a long stock that I actually enjoy watching. Your style's just nice and precise, but in a fluid way. Looks like mod, but on stock  Anyhoo, nice vid. I'm guessing all the riding before when you f**ked your wrist hasn't helped :) Anyroads, hope it all heals up good 'n' proper without needing surgery and stuff like that. Good luck with it :( Mark

Same as me. We didn't have a teacher all year for Philosophy, so it was a bit rock come exam/synoptic time :) Hope she gets in anyway :(
-
*SigH* Right. £155 (Profile) + £10 (Spokes) + £10 (build) + £15 (fixed sprocket) = £190 Chain tugs = £5 Do the f**king math.
-
A, B, C, D. WTF. Totalled up to 360 pts altogether. Freaky :(
-
What he's trying to say :) A non-disc hub can be built wider between the flanges. This means the triangle of the rim, spoke and hub can be stronger. Anyroads, with a disc hub, this isn't the case. The flanges are made closer together so you can fit a disc on there. Because of this, the spokes are nearer the centre of the wheel, so you're good :P Don't worry about it, it'll be dandy :)
-
Should do? Well, my T-Pro fits both, and I think the spacings are similar, it's juist that the Team is sculpted out more in the arch to give room for mod tyres :P Mark
