I made a frame!

Aener, how dose it handle with that geo? Dose it feel like a old trials bike or is it a more street style geo? Want my dad to have a go at one, he's a welder by trade.

It's about half-way between a trials bike and a BMX.

Very quick, direct, and insanely tetchy.

It's great for street if you're accustomed to a regular mod, and doesn't sacrifice too much of the "trialsy" feel, but it is short.

You have to throw some pretty odd body shapes for it to work for sidehops etc, but it's a worthwhile sacrifice, in my opinion.

Thanks guys! Forgot about this thread.

Frame is still good - thought it was cracked but then when I stripped the paint off to weld it up it appears it was just a paint crack.

Going to make a new one with thinner tubing soon to see if I can get the weight down a bit. Made this one with longevity in mind, not weight ;)

Adam has a little hobby MIG welder that I used, and the jig was just a length of 20mm box section with holes drilled in strategic places :)
