i was woundering if people prefered pis pot helmets or the type with the peak

i think i prefer the type with a peak the pis pot ones seam to be out of chracter they just look gay

Deffently one with a peak, I have got a gyro semi, It's relitively cheap but decent.

I have a Giro Xen. They are expensive but brilliant. Deffinatly recomended though (Y)

As a general rule of thumb, many UCI riders tend to wear lighter XC type lids, and streetier riders wear piss pots.

I prefere XC-type helmets.

piss pot type for street riding and BMX, as it give a bit more coverage to the head. XC lid for natural as I'd get too sweaty riding about in the pisspot

It may cover your head more but not going to protect you that much more thats why XC helmets have peaks front and back so you cant smack the area bellow it

xc helmets, more comfortable....specialized decibel or bell sweep xc are sweet!

i used to wear a piss pot style helmet, but usually they are quite poorly ventilated and you end up sweating so badly out on your bike

a while ago i bought a giro e2 helmet and it's really good, one of the higher end xc ones so its very light, comfortable and it also has brilliant ventilation to keep you cool :P

Yeah i've got a Giro Xen in the new white camo, its lush. I managed to get a demo one for cheap at my local bike shop with a bit of sweet talkin.

Giro or MET is what i would go for, definatly with a peak :P

i'm now riding with a LAS squalo for comps and freeride/xc and an LAS piss pot for street, they are the comfiest helmets i've ever worn and i've been through a fair few in the last 11 years!!!

i have a giro xen.i think thy are the best helmet avalible for trials as they have the protection of a piss pot style helmet and the ventilation of an xc helmet.

if you look at chain reaction you can get 2004/5 versions pretty cheap too.

highly recommended!

Iv got a Giro Xen and a piss pot but i much prefer the Xen mainly because its so much lighter than most piss pot`s and has a realy good ventilation system to keep you cool :P

i use an azonic piss pot because it was what i used for dj and i havent got round to getting a new one yet
