smelly joe Posted February 6, 2006 Report Share Posted February 6, 2006 My 05 lever is crap, it constanlty leeks and the lever body has a small crack in it which is worrying. Ive had to make my own tpa out of aluminium and i have also stripped the thread in the lever as the aluminium they are made from is so shite it untrue.so in my opinion the 04's are much better, ive never had a problem with any. redroy Posted February 7, 2006 Report Share Posted February 7, 2006 iv got the old 33s with an rb lever blade filed down 2fit on the rear and bled with water n they work amazing cant fault them atal. this is the 5th year iv had them with only the hoses and pads bein replaced. so id say definetly get sum!! The 05 levers just feel so flimsy like they have tried to scrape to much metal out of them to make them light. But the 04 lever is more solid and it just weights a little bit more.
