Bigman
Right, i have had a set of atomlab aircorp pedals for the past 2 years and the bearings have finaly decided to die on me, they are now proper loose.......So i need new pedals, don't realy want to be spending any more than £30 but if they look like decent stuff i may do.I am looking for preferably platform pedals with sealed bearings which are grippy to fook.....so what u guys recomend?ThanksAdam
ian
im going to be using some new crank brothers platform pedals, but they are like 59.99 2 years warrenty etc, Edited February 9, 2006 by ian
JIX
DMR V12 all day long. Had my ones year and a half at least. The bearings are slowly dieing now, but you can easily get hold of dmr replacements. I have lost only one pin in this time. My ones are the magnesium ones, but as far as Im aware that is only the body so doesnt affect anything but the price and weight.
Bigman
I did think about some DMR pedals, but the ones i have had before hurt my feet, the shape of them don't seem to get on with my feet at all.........Ian, those pedals are abit on the pricey side, well, supose the atomlabs were..........Adam
Ash-Kennard
get some revell pedals, they have a nice large platform with somewhat incredible grip. but 45quid is quite pricey. well worth it though mate.

CurtisRider
i have the perfect pedal for you.........wellgo b38s i have them on my base and they are awesome, coming from the monster grip of shindigs, these offer similar levels of grip, are uber low profile (like atomlabs), have cartridge bearings and feel lovely also the bikehut x pedals seem worth considering, i havent used them on my trials bike yet, but on my commencal 24 and my kona stinky they rock-uber grippy both sets of pedals are 35quid too
Mark W
£30.Alu body, sealed bearing, cromo axle. Pins screw in from underneath too, which makes about a trillion times more sense than the way V8/12s do. But yeah, might be worth a look-in? 540g, in black or white. ScotchDave
If the bodies of your pedals are in good nick just go to your local bearing supplier and get new bearings.

mat hudson
shindigs are grippy as fook, nice and big and only 15quid. last well considering their open bearing too. but when they die just buy new ones.

But as you said you're not to keen, then i would say the onza shindigs never tried them mind you but i have heard nothing but god and they will be my next set of pedals once these die......... whenever that be

Mark W
What are they Mark?I'm quite interested .Mat Gusset SlimJim pedals. Just google.co.uk "Gusset Slim Jim pedals", probably come up with Ison Distribution. Dunno if you can buy direct from them, but you're local bikeshop will more than likely get shit from Ison 'cos they cover a large array of brands. If not, buy online from somewhere. Thanks for the help Guys......At the moment i am torn between the wellgo's B38's and the Gusset? ones that mark posted up........Adam No no whiteboy, going on about the ones that Mark posted up, they are the slim jims, come with sealed bearings etc, look bloody nice too...Adam Yeah, they do look pretty swish. When my X-Pedals (pimp ) shit the bed for the last time, I'm gonna bosh a pair of them on. They do look ridiculously good, in fairness, and they seem like a bit of a bargain, being one of the few sealed pedals on the good side of £30 (to my knowledge ). Not heavy, either. ScotchDave
I'll just mention that I have very poor experiences with sealed pedals the "right" side of £30, last sort I had lasted a total of 9 days for 2 pairs, didn't even ride them every day or that hard, but the bearings just went.
