The 221 Pro frame has been so popular

that even the Monty factory has run out, there will be no more of these

frames until the 2007 model arrives - sorry for any disappointment to

all those who wanted one ... The 2007 Monty 221 Ti due to arrive in

the UK in the next few weeks in time for the World Round riders to take

with them ..

Thank god its not a monty, i love the way montys look and feel

I just thought when i saw it, monty have ruined the frame and made it look like a plain zoo, echo typre frame

Agreed, although Monty are seen as old fashioned and out of date with thier frame designs, i still think they should not change, as they have proven to be amazing frames, and it would be such a waste to see them go down the 'deng' hole.

Dani Comas did, and the actual new Monty protos are longer. Also, they're less gusseted.

So the short, flexy one was gusseted, but now they've welded some longer tubing on the front it doesn't need it? I dunno... Monty have always kinda weirded me out with their weird seat-stay/tube/top-tube junction, but who knows.

Oh, and just for shits 'n' giggles, what it would've looked like in non-el gasho Monty paintjob:
