Greetings Posted March 11, 2007 Report Share Posted March 11, 2007 (edited) I'd personally go for ZOO forks, they're fairly short which is what you want with such a long frame.Sorry, didn't realize you were going to use vees.Ashtons maybe? They're of awful quality but hold up rather well, plus they're short and beefy and have a steel steerer. Krisboats Posted March 11, 2007 Report Share Posted March 11, 2007 Whys that? .MatEither the way the fork leg has been subjected to a different amount of heat when the mounts were welded on, making them slightly weaker. Or it could be that the 4 bolt mount actually made that section of the fork leg slightly stiffer than the lower section of the fork leg, causing it to flex at the point of the weld and eventually crack. lankyri Posted March 11, 2007 Author Report Share Posted March 11, 2007 had a set of ashtons on my old t rex and i cracked them in five places, dont know how though as i didnt tap or hook even go to front wheel lol. i know its hard choosing a fork because propably someone has snapped/cracked every set of forki prob will go with fattys and spray them white they look really nice in white, of if i can find a pair of bt forks in white il have them cheers for your help guys Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
