Just quickly for all those who seem to have misunderstood this. They are not trying to ban live music, don't know where that came from, rather they intend to license it more strictly, making it more expensive for venues who do not currently need a license, such as a lot of live music pubs etc. I'm guessing all they need at the moment is permition from local homeowners or whatever, but now they will need a licence! This will be controvercial so I'm sorry, but if they have dodgy stamps or their visas have run out then that's their own fault and they should expect to suffer the consequences. I find it funny how people on here make statements about sending certain ethnicities back to their own country when actually those people are here legally, but these people appear to be here illegally for whatever reason and everyone feels for them, why is that? How are they any different? Is it just because we know them or one of their relatives? The same rules apply to EVERYONE, it's not one rule for one and another for everyone else! Very hypocritical if you ask me, they should have their papers in order if they wish to reside in this country!!!!!!! Davey

It's unbelievable the things they will come up with to squeeze more money out of us. 4x4 road tax goes up to around £400 a year pretty soon, new mileage taxation scheme, congestion charge (there's still congestion, so that failed to do anything other than generate revenue) cycling tax etc etc. It's testement to the awful state this country is in financially! All this would be fine if the money wasn't being wasted, but where does this money go? Road tax, well our roads are still a mess so where's that all gone? Congestions charge, the roads are still congested so that didn't solve anything, and what did the money go towards? And this new music licencing to supposedly stop crime and disorder, presumably that will go on policing? Well I wont even get started on how useless this countries police force is, but to give an example: Some drunken wanker knocked at my door claiming he was looking for a whore house and he thought my house was it, when I told him to f*ck off he got aggressive and pushed his was into MY house calling me all the names under the sun .... nothing was done about this as he ran off before the police arrived. however my mate parked in the lay by opposite my house and because he was in the road slightly he got £60 fine and 3 points on his license, he may now not be able to complete "the knowledge" and become a London cabby which he has been trying to do for the past few years as a result of this. Few things make me really really angry, but the way this country is run is one of them! Rant over, from me anyway, feel free to continue the rant yourselves!! Davey

Pubs which could previously offer work to solo musicians or duos now have to pay for a special licence and can only have 12 of these per year Even school Xmas concerts need to be licensed. The unlicensed provision of even one musician is a potential criminal offence (although some places are exempt, including places of public religious worship, royal palaces and moving vehicles). Max penalty: ?20,000 fine and six months in prison (for the proprietor and the musicians). The rationale is to prevent noise, crime and disorder, to ensure public safety, and the protection of children from harm. But broadcast entertainment, including sport and music, is exempt - no matter where, and no matter how powerfully amplified. For the first time, private performances raising money for charity will need a licence. School performances open to friends and family will need a licence - they count as public performances. I think you need to add incentive! Take a really hot pic of yourself, like something a bit cheeky and a bit spesh, then stick a thread in the "for sale" section saying "Cheeky pic of me for sale, £1, send money to paypal account bla bla bla". Then you just keep an eye on paypal and watch the orders come in, send a link to the pic to anyone who orders. Only problem might be that some cheeky bugger will post it on here once he's bought it, so for this reason I'd suggest making it more like £3 so that people feel less inclined to give it away for free as they have spent money on it! Other than that, if I had £90 spare I'd give it to you (and the money, hahaha, that was such a bad joke) but I am poor so I can't:( Good luck though Davey

Seriously though, before I get punched hahahahaha, it's probably not a good idea unless you have an easy backup accommodation plan which can be put into effect quickly, just incase you push the boundaries of what is socially acceptable and she kicks you out on your arse! In my experience living with a girl can be tricky/awkward at the best of times. You would potentially have to put up with her being rogered in the next room by her boyf, which would be weird no? Mind you, I quite like little lady sex noises, little moans etc, but if it's your ex it's not so good! Having said that, if I were in your position I would probably move in with her, I'd find it too hard to resist. I'd move in a purposefully walk around in just a towel, hair still wet kinda thing (see Davetrials pic in the pics of yourself thread, that kinda thing), and wait for the inevitable day when you wake up in the middle of the night and she's slipped into your room. It's the whole "forbidden fruit" element coupled with the fact that the thought of you in the next room all naked etc will probably drive her nuts, the excitement of being naughty alone will probably drive her to it..... not that you neccesarilly want that to happen, just putting that out there, you know if you did want that then that's how to go about it! Haha, care to explain how I am wrong?Unless perhaps it comes out on your monitor differently to mine which is a possibility no one has thought of, it is really NOT blue at all, blue does not look like that! To illustrate my point, here is the picture with a BLUE square added, and a TURQUOISE square added. Which one looks the same to you, because to me it NOT the blue one, in fact the Turquoise one practically disappears into the top, therefor it is NOT blue, it is turquoise, which is a shade of green! Haha, this is the best thread EVER! However, to all these people saying it's closer to blue than green, how can that be possible? You can't be "close to blue", no matter how close to blue it is unless it is 100% blue then it is not a primary colour it is a secondary colour, so it is green. Blue is blue, the moment it starts being even a tiny bit greenish it is no longer blue it is green, because blue is a primary colour and so cannot be anything other than blue. You can say something is green even if it is only very slightly green because this is a secondary colour and is not bound by the same laws as that of a primary colour which, by definition, is a single unmixed colour in the spectrum, changeable only in it's lightness/darkness but not it's base colour! So to conclude, the top is green, even if it is turquiose it is still green as turpuiose is a type of green, unless it is COMPLETELY blue then it is NOT blue is it? Davey
