  1. Thought was a preety cool video, and such a lush bike. Only thing I would say is on the gaps it looks like you could do with tucking up abit more, didn't look like you bent your legs in the whole video to me. Phil
  2. Ah they are horrible to look at! Phil
  3. Tarty - £700 ish Select - £200 Not too horrificly bad! But a hell of a lot of money. The amount of fun I've had the last couple of years justifies it I reacon. Phil
  4. Yeah definetly has a 180 which was too large. At first when it didn't fit went to the local bikeshop and tried a 160, only about 1/4 of the pad was on the disk. So just went with a random 170 disk which is doing the job and holds to front etc. Phil
  5. Haha! Maybe you think your 'from the streets' but every single person here knows a grown man on the large side could beat the hell out of you! I'm bigger and stronger than most 17 year olds but if attacked out of the blue by a big angry man I seriously wouldn't fancy my chances. (I know someone will argue size+stength is nothing to do with it but it definetly makes a difference) Phil
  6. Yeah I've got your one with the xt lever 180mm now. You sold it to a mate and I got it off him. I'm preety sure you gave the wrong mounts as 180mm disk wasn't compatible atall. Anyway got the marta on my Toxsin, has good modulation and preety good hold however not the very best. The lever blade does wobble but remember the likelyhood is yours wont come with a xt lever. My advice, chuck them on and have a go! Make sure you wear them in. Phil
  7. A mate of mine had some. Actually worked in reducing the need for calysis but they can only be worn with gloves. Easier just to build up some decent skin. Phil

Never seen this video before, preety sure hasn't been posted. Really enjoyed it, seriously not sure about the music though. YOUTUBE Talented pair of riders. Phil
  9. BB7 without any doubt. Avid disk brakes are shocking in my opinion Phil
  10. Noooo bike looks awesome! Don't bother getting it done! But also what is clear? I'm presuming you don't mean translucent like water, so I don't understand what it is. Phil
  11. Personally I either have my bike underneath me whilst I'm riding it or in the garage locked away where it is covered by the house insurance so extra insurance doesn't seem necersarry. But if you use your trials bike as transport I guess it would make sense. Phil
  12. Been the last three years. Not sure if I will this year was a abit of a dissapointment in 07 I must say 05 and 06 were NEC, 07 was somewhere in london I can't remember where Phil
  13. agreed. Think its the best option. Duel disks just seem too much of a risk in my opinion. Let alone how they leave your pocket! Phil
  14. Well in, no one had made a thread linking to the youtube version yet. Yeah there is a downloadable, search the last couple of pages of vids on the forum, will be there. Awesome video! Phi
  15. No curbstomping. HAHA! Cracked me up. But in all seriousness you should definetly go to the police. He committed Assault if he walked towards you and rolled up his sleeves in a menacing way. He committed Assault occasioning batter when he hit you. He committed Assualt occasioning ABH if you have a mark or bruise on your face. Phil
  16. My advice is pick up an old Onza T-Rex frame. Not the lgihtest frame but not heavy, has a good geometry and a very solid feel. Should transission you into the modern world of pure trials preety well at a relatively low price. Can pick a frame up for around £60 second hand. Phil
  17. 74 Kingz, good bit of kit, works very well, very light if your into that kinda thing. Phil
  18. You leaving out your pathetic attempts to be witty is for the best.... Best of like getting your bike back mate. Phil
  19. Brilliant Cranks, just superb. My mate snapped one just riding along I have to admit, but don't let it put you off, was just a one off. I've had mine for well over a year and they are perfect Make sure your not over charged for them though and definetly go second hand. Phil
  20. Don't just aim to land on the backwheel make bloody sure you do Or you may infact die. - So basically get right on the edge. - Lower front wheel - Stick out arse just above the rear wheel, as low as you can go - Gently kick off - Extend legs out on the way down - Land on your backwheel and suck up the force by bending your legs. Phil
  21. Good stuff Surprised the control forks snapped so easily. Reacon that info could be useful to alot of people. Phil
  22. Don't go with specialised gloves they are shocking, rip so so easily from my experience of the last two pairs I've owned. Personally I use Hebo Teams Trials, would definetly recommend them. Otherwise go with a good quality brand such as Fox or some 661 gloves. Phil
  23. Got told by a random drunk hobo that I should keep practising and trying to get up the wall because the first time he shagged a woman he was crap and now he's had hundreds he's amazing. Was properly funny. Phil
  24. I don't like the planet mars particularly but I still eat mars bars. Rock Pads is just the name of a brand, they are not specific to any kind of riding in any way. (unless it was a pun) Do you have a smooth rim or a grind? Phil
