I'm sorry to say this but DMR have never made a good tensioner. My advice for the future if you want something to rely on is a 74 kingz tensioner which can be found on tarty. At £35 it's abit pricey but once you've come to terms with the realisation it cost them 50p to make in a factory its all good because its a quality piece of kit that you can really rely on. Just chuck it on and forget about it. Phil

Talk english -Sounds stupid but maybe rub abit off the surface of the pads. I'm using plazmatics atm, just went back to them from browns and they were not amazing for a couple of days but when the top layer was shaved off were absolutely awesome. -Make sure the pads are lined up decently. -Make sure you have enough lever to grab for power (adjust TPA or move pads in) You should not have to use tar if your running koxx browns on a sharp grind (until your grind dies) Phil

Echo VP Cheap, easy and lasts. Will find them on tarty or select bikes. Phil

No, that proves one person should be responsible to say 'look guys, can't buy/sell in new members, read the rules' within that actual thread. HOWEVER This is very different to some power crazed little kid attempting to look controlling and knowledgeable whilst actually sounding patronising. Phil

Don't use the Koxx browns for a light/dead grind I'd say, I've jsut chanbged. Go for Rock Blues, a friend of mine is using them on a light grind and they are unbelievable. Phil

What you need is BT V1.01 its an awesome downloadable trials game. It only gets good if you give it a decent amount of time mind. Look around for it on the net or the forum. I downloaded it from a thread ages ago. There is also a second game in the series but it's not as good. Phil

Jesus Christ you sound like such a twat. (I don't need to explain, its quite evident) Phil

If you enjoyed that game................. Try This (Bike mania) Definetly been posted before at some point. EDIT: Got 5.22, won't bother with a screenshop as it wasn't too good, . Phil

Absolute Crap. Trials is fascinating to watch, even more so for those who don't ride themselves. It has so many different levels to it and is very varied in the way competitors approach obstacles and obviously the different sections. If you want 'boring as f**k' watch every track event ever invented. Speed trials I agree would be an awesome event but best trick would be ludicrous as any 'best trick' a trials rider can perform would be no-where near as exciting as a say Dirt Jumper could perform. Unless you are referring to who can tap the highest or sidehop etc which would not be feasable either as all moves would have to be incorporated and there are just too many AND I can't think that would be anymore interesting than watching a competition. I'm preety sure not all countries in the world are obliged to take part in all the available sports so can't think its too much of an issue. Phil Well said, got him there Phil

Your probably right dude. Just from what I've seen in the short videos the style looked abit wrong. But I know what your getting at, videos can take alot out of the riding. Also evidence bmx's are not a good plan! Phil

Because you have a Zoo! and your not a beginner I can speak the truth: That is horriffic! Phil

HAHA! Made me chuckle. Phil

Aha, cheers didn't know that, thought he owned it. Do your best to stop him He's a very talented rider but something about him on the inspired looks odd I believe (but obviously its all about the fun and doing what you want and buying what you want) Phil

I don't think it's really a big deal. The main reason your going to de-thread it is by cross threading I would think so try spraying abit of silicon spray in before you fit the maggy, works a beauty and makes it easier to tell when its tight due to the low friction Phil
-
He also has an inspired....which is very very wrong Phil
-
If it needs tar im afraid to say it isn't the best choice. From my experience the deng pads are sh*t on a grind. Phil

Pointless using Bebo, use photobucket or something. Then copy the 'direct link' code you will be given, open the 'insert image' box on the forum toolbar just above and paste in the code Phil

He speaks the truth, A mate of mine runs the rock blues and they are unbelievable and his grind is dead! I'm running some sort of plazs at the moment which are doing the job, moved from koxx browns which are also good on a grind but are completely silent if noise is your kind of thing. Phil

I'm 6ft 3 now. Ride a stock, its the only way to go! A mod would kill my back. Mod's are for <6ft or you run the risk of looking like a twat hunched over and destroying your back. Phil

What cretin thought it would be a good idea to put the 'sticking out' pointy bit on the top. Ruins the whole look and as far as I can tell has no structual value. Phil

Just get a singlespeed kit for about £10 or whatever they cost these days, fit it, or if you can't get your local shop to, then buy either a KMC or my advice would be to go for a KHE Collapse. Phil

For me its been: Bars Stem BB Frame Maggy lever Maggy crossover chainring sprocket hub axle QR Spoke Pedal cage Pedal axle Think that's about it for me Phil

I've got one of the Mono Ti's. At first I thought it might be a hyped up XC but its actually alot nicer, more reliable and alot louder. Ideally I'd have a pro 2 but I just can't justify spending those crazy kinds of money on a hub. Besides I bought a Try-all Rim on the Mono Ti for £40 which was a complete bargain and its lasted me ages (until I recently got an echo 07 built on) In conclusion XC's are abit flimsy in my opinion as I killed mine in a couple of months but the Mono Ti will do the job Phil
-
No pads in the world work on a smooth rim in the wet, it just can't find the friction. A grind is a must but I'm afraid standard black pads will be crap, when it comes to pads I have Koxx Browns at the moment but i'm thinking of changing to Rock pad blues as from what I've seen they offer a better performance. Phil

Ah man that is so so wrong! BMX'ers are getting too ridiculous these days. Phil
