    Russian Girl

Enjoyed that, although posting a topic with a title like 'Russian Girl', on a forum made mainly up of boys, is going to cause much frustration.... That hook-front-over, over-hook, or whatever you want to name it was brilliant.
  6. In the Devon Smillie video I LOVED the hang 5 on the curved wall in the middle of the video. The 180 out of it just made me grin from ear to ear.
  7. Probably because most of the riders on there aren't able to do the trialsy aspects of riding a MTB like Fabio is. He looks like he is having fun, I didn't think the video was that bad. Also I am jealous of being able to pull a nae handed wheelie...
  8. Haha - is this aimed at Ross? Knickers in a twist guys - Je suis charlie / Freedom of speech and all that.
  9. Deepthroat McArthur knows a deal when he see's one
  10. Nice to see some different spots in there bud. Although that bridge manual...did you touchdown the front wheel on the wall before dropping off? Doesn't count.
  11. I have been up before, lots of big rocks, I would say it is more suited to the a push bike than a moto anyway - I could go up one day and get some pictures if you'd like. I think you only need to ask the BAMCC for the contact at craiglash quarry. Why have they done that to aviemore? any reason? Will it ever be put back to the way it was? As Yoshi said finding non-tidal spots is the difficult bit, especially round Grampian. The rocks at Montrose could definitely be good for a comp, although maybe not so much for the lower classes and again these have tidal constraints
  12. I hope to attend a couple of dates this year as well guys. Have you contacted the guys at the BAMCC to ask about locations such as Craiglash Quarry nr Banchory?
  13. I've just watched this for the 3rd time on the trot. What an AMAZING location. Your riding is brilliant, loved the casual bar spin thrown in there
  14. that bridge rail ride was pretty tasty
  15. Dan Laceys section is just silly. I agree that it would have been better had they brought out a physical DVD but seriously worth watching.
  16. for those of you who are avoiding 'above below' because of Itunes, i'd definitely recommend not avoiding it....
  17. Cool Story Bro..... Seriously though, that was actually a nice little insight, being a noob photographer. Obviously I understood there were flashes involved, but its nice to see the comparison between (almost) identical shots. Obviously you don't have the 'perfect' background scenario in, i'd guess, 70-80% of shots of Glasgow, so making Ali the centrepiece is most easily done with flashes, or in post? On that point actually, did you do much or anything at all with the computer? On your point about trials not being photogenic, if I had to put it down to one thing (obviously there are numerous reasons), I would put my money being on the fact that trials is very repetitive, how many sidehops (as an example) have you seen photos of with the massive tuck. It's impressive when someone is going huge but then its essentially the same photo and hard to make interesting / different while incorporating the feat being achieved. As you kind of insinuated, its always going to be easier with a rider who stands out from a crowd. Anyway, good effort on the photos. mighty impressed. Something Ali will be able to show people in the future and be proud of. Still want him to go out and get the big stuff he missed out on filmed though....
  18. Really enjoyed this Mark, photos are excellent throughout. Something I really miss about trials is decent photographs of streety riders, maybe I am just looking in the wrong places, and I'd also imagine that the accessibility of HD video in the modern day almost supersedes photography. Interesting to read Ali's perception of his internal demons. In my opinion he has improved massively over the past couple of years, which can't be easy considering the standard of riding he already had (/end of brown nosing) Ali - I look forward to seeing all the 'banger' lines if this is what you think of as just 'tech'. I hope you get the lines you wanted on camera, because I definitely want to see them.
  19. pretty sure that should be incorporated into Tarty's next forum banner advert...
  20. Fabio = great rider, massive baws, didnt expect a few of the things in there, although there was a few things that I thought were a bit cheesy (probably because I can't do them). Fly-cam operator = terrible. Made me feel a bit sick, really needs to get control of that thing.
