Seems it's all been said really! The brake you have at the moment will be fine, run it and see what happens. It's no trouble to go changing arms, and even if you jkust put SD7's on they'd be more than good enough. Any wire/ cable cutters will be fine, just be sure you don't crush the end flat. For pads, i swear by old Hatsink Reds in CNC backings - so much modulation and shit loads of hold, but finding them could be difficult. Inspired pads are good, but the ones i had were very bitey, maybe not what you want for a streety rig! Boosters are a must, especially on steel frames. I have a Shimano XTR here that i just took off the front when i swapped to a disc you're welcome to if you want it. Just eliminates the flex and the hold is soo much better.

Clean the back rim and occasionally sand the pads down, that's it.

Was gonna chuck this in RSQ but i'd quite like an answer Got an 06 Mono Trial last night which needs a bit of an overhaul, one of the issues with it is the lever. Both the brass barrel and the hole that it sits in in the lever blade have worn down quite a lot and it rattles around. Am i going to need to hunt down an 06 blade (and if so, where from?) or can i put an 07+ one in with a bit of modification? I'm sure i've seen that done somewhere, it might have been a fresh products lever actually.. Any help would be cool (or if you have a silver one laying around spare ) Cheeeerzzzzz

As for her, i totally agree with you. When i broke up with my ex it was very much the same thing - fine one day and just completely over the next. I was just pretty shellshocked by it and never really found out what the cause was, I just assume it must be more than met the eye! Chat to your doctor and see what they say, if you think it'll help you safely then it can't really be a bad thing

Give it some time first mate, you're a pretty strong person and you can at least try and deal with it yourself first. I know there are other ways around it (i know, i've gone down similar roads to you when things get a bit too shit) but keep them as your last option. You'll do better knowing you've dealt with it yourself, as opposed to letting something in a box sort it all out for you, or at least just stop you giving a shit about something everyone should care about in their life.
