  1. I think they look so good on a wider rim but for me I would just worry about punctures all the time. Bring out dual ply conts!
  2. I had a paid of the Spade forks around 2012 and those lasted me 8 months before they snapped at the crown race, just out of nowhere. I think the spade forks also claimed a few other people but I couldn't tell you if this ever improved. I remember at the same era Carthy was riding for Tartybikes and had broken a paid or so quite fast (but he is the king of hooks so no wonder). I don't think Rockman things have ever been built to last really.
  3. I am looking for an old TV show aired on Extreme Sports channel, I remember there from back in my school days so 11 years back at least. I remember it was a mixture of riders, one of the guys used to ride a Koxx 26" trials bike, the rest of various different down hill bikes. From memory they was touring either Canada or Australia (or both in two series). He had blonde dreads also if that helps. Would be cool to watch some of it again for sure! Cheers guys. Edit posted this thread and remembered straight after: Shaun Denny!
  4. I think these clips are now 2 weeks old but this is the last filmed stuff of Carl on the Console. Short but sweet, unfortunately my camera hates the dark.
  5. Liked this, be cool to see more though. Hope you can keep injury free!
  6. Work stressing me out big time, Had a letting agents screw up an inventory and the landlord wasn't happy with the work done as it was to paint 3/4 of a house and the parts not done did spoil it, I don't get a major say but I had mentioned it. I told the letting agents that I would go back for free and paint the rest to get them out of the shit but the landlord pissed at the letting agents already as not only had she not been paid for 4 months, they trashed it and stole her stove and flu (as you do). So knocked money off my bill to just get it over with not that I wanted to but I can't be arsed with the agro, 4 months later still not paid. Also not paid for other work with them, they've had a bad tenant in another property that I had re decorated, cleaned and replaced windows in for them but lost the landlord and he is being a dick also. I know that I will be paid but its been 4 months no pay from my main source of income and I am scraping the barrel, I have two new letting agents I now work for that are both giving me small bits of jobs and it's great I have been paid by both but its not enough I need my big bills to come back to me where I have money out in materials and skips. It's frustrating.
  7. I don't get why? Clips cool Carl, more!
  8. Hahaha reminded me of this.
  9. Hinge side bolts do a pretty good job, its just easy to fit extra security. You could just go buy a pair of normal dead locks to fit and get them keyed alike something like Yale, ERA or Union are all okay. I would say get a pair of Euro sash locks BS, coupled with a pair of anti snap barrels (any really will do, UPA or Securit are cheap and cheerful) and a pair of Cylinder guards. You're probably talking £65. It's a visual deterrent, it looks bad ass, it gives you two keys to have to get in which would put off anyone trying to break in. Stronger locks and what not. You will have to measure your door though to check the barrel size and probably set the lock to suit the barrel but that's the same for the yale key to. Maybe you'll not be able to lock yourself in EDIT: Ironmongers/ hardware places best bet, SKS catalogue also with next day delivery is all good.
  10. Nice work man, I would go for a ERA Fortress sash lock and decent handle with a pair of OVAL cylinder dead locks with guards on (keyed alike), tempted to put in a pair of hinge side bolts in to. Pretty much got to kick it down to get in. Couldn't help myself
  11. Drop the stem down by most of those stackers would be my first move on that bike for you. Then lose a chain link it looks like you have the room for it. It's a good bike to learn some stuff on then you can upgrade to something with a shorter all around geo the most similar to that only shorter wheel base and reach would be the TMS COMBO 2016 model, then the most pimp and most expensive would be something like a SKYE build.
  12. Well and truly gutted with part 10, I set out to make a full edit with the rides I had and with losing light quickly and getting chucked off spots I didn't manage to get much that was any good. Today I went to Manchester and in the last clip of the above I land the gap and somehow pulled/tore my Oblique muscle in my left. I thought it was a nerve at first but after hopping up the wall to try the gap again it was fairly painful and cut todays ride and the edit short. Next port of call will be getting my wheels re laced and a new set of pads then I will aim to get back to all thee locations and film what I set out to. Word on the street is Karl will join me next week if I can ride so shit should happen. Thanks for watching guys.
  13. That is ridiculously laid back for stuff that big. Very cool to see clips like this can't wait to see a full edit again like "You make me stronger". Does he ride for Echo bike?
  14. Will give these a shout, cheers.
  15. Yeah I am Skipton so quite out of the way. The nearest place I found for my car was quite expensive coupled with bad reviews, leaking in from the glass fitting mostly. I would be cool fitting it myself but if the price isn't much extra and its only going to be a day trip to get done I am cool with it. The bike fits in it also so can always go and be social after . Thanks.
  16. Yeah had that conversation with Dman, their bringing out a new model hopefully that will be improved. I'll maybe get something better over winter. I'd like to be able to self adjust for sunlight conditions also. Edit: Thanks I'll try keep these coming. I just want a few more days off the bike
  17. Just won a holiday tonight at a charity do. Impressed.
  18. Best place to get a soft top replacement? Seen a few on eBay but not sure where else to check.
  19. I just checked it out, that's a fair old trail! Thanks for the comments guys I'll try make part 10 the best yet if I get a good day next week
  20. You ridden with Judders yet? He's my mentor. Hopefully a trip across the pond is a goer for 2017.
