  1. Great responses Ross, I wasn't calling this out as it is something that I would like to see progress from you and become an off the shelf item in the future from Marino. I would be keen on seeing this with the shorter seat tube, you can get a seat post that self clamps so you could cut it close down and run a sleek look. I can live with your cranks it was just my personal opinion, you know my setup more than most. This is thing ticks a whole load'a boxes!
  2. Reminds me of the Marco Hosel bike from his knock on wood edit only without suspension, a rubber belt and 24". I like this a lot but the crank and bash set up looks super out of proportion to my eyes. I especially like the longer head tube/ 0 spacers.
  3. It's meant to take 362. I will confirm soon as mine arrives
  4. Try the over to one side also, clamp on the upsweep will feel great.
  5. No one is expecting photos taken at radical bikes. No one.
  6. It was only a matter of time he got deported.
  7. ^Selling point being that their team riders are having to resort to DIY tubeless? I am very anti conti all I ever see on rides is either people backing out of stuff in case they get punctures or people doing stuff and getting punctures. How you ride makes a huge difference but even small things like riding between spots and tiny bits of glass giving people punctures. Happens loads. Especially in Manchester where the streets are paved with more glass than tarmac it seems. I run the Odyssey they're good, dual ply 2.25, yeah they're narrow and yes you can feel that they are dual ply but I run 35psi so they bounce nicely. I find that on the most part when I bunny hop up a wall I aim for the corner, when I gap I aim for the corner of what I am landing on and when I rolling gap exactly the same. Other people I see just don't and they seem to aim to gap onto the top of things then as soon as that doesn't work out they just hit the corner super heavy and psssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss fack'd it. I worry more on rides about Leon's headset seizing or his discs, chain and frame going rusty with lack of use than punctures
  8. Mine are forward, my bike usually goes up when I ride towards a wall. All good. Try change them around it'll take a bit of getting used to maybe a ride but it might be the best change to your set up you ever make!
  9. You have to come to terms with it not being the same as a comp bike at the end of the day. The way they get ridden is different you're hindered by the geo for quite a lot of things trials related. The weight of the bike doesn't over come any of that. I've ridden both and although I liked aspects of the Aluminium frame steel just seems to be perfect for street. Even in a trials mindset. It feels great. Around yourself there's a few riders with Arcades and Consoles so getting to a ride and trying one out shouldn't be a problem at all but if you have to not be totally put of by peoples set ups as most run their bars inline with the forks now. Nasty! In terms of the Silex I will let people know what I make of it as soon as I get any inkling of what's actually happening with it, they've told me I am getting one but I don't know if that means they have sent it or not
  10. I just re stuck in the pads and it's been fine since.
  11. Yeah that was before they snapped though, Christ Mark. Bike look's shit. Cool that they're still going and trying to improve their work so + points for them on that. Why can't they be unique and just do their own thing though? The best thing you can do for this company is drill that into their heads
  12. I mean if you're pinning it into a tap and your gusset falls off it could go in your eye. I wouldn't risk that.
  13. We just call that spot 'Brunthwaite' as it's on Brunthwaite road, if this is the place just below Addingham? As well as the glen. Some super awesome riding, the speed going into that massive up to front at Shipley is crazy for that run up. Will we ever see the 20" stuff you filmed?
  14. Huge moves going into these shows for the audience and that it impresses trials riders just shows the level of riding. Awesome video! 360 tyre tap whip was something special!

    Jezebel

I doubt my opinion matters though it seems for someone who brings out plenty of edits they just keep being impressive and watchable. I hope we get to ride again in the future. New bike colour looks tasty!
  16. Is the key to being the best in the world front hops? I've been doing this so wrong! Just a reminder of how to film Jack correctly:
  17. You can't ask me a question with a quote consisting of 3/4 of what I said, Germany got involved and beat me to it though.
  18. Love a good head scratch like this, actually did similar things at college. The more I think about this the more similar to a train question I was given in college as part of an exam and I nailed it I remember it being on a page of the exam labelled "Counteraction" (College exam's were pretty laid back :P) so somewhere in the above something has to counteract, either the wheel would have to skid, the bike would move forward counteracting the tension of the pulling or that the bike would move backwards but the crank arm would have to technically move anti clockwise with the bike.
  19. Fun edit was fun. Would love to ride here sometime. Jacobs logic of to rears is questionable haha
  20. The more popular one from memory was 160 x 30, they also did a 150 and a 140 though I think both of the following was x 25.
  21. No ones rotor rubs? I really struggled with the spikey things sticking up and the increase of speed each ramp down caused so I used my bike. By the middle of the manual I could have let off the brake but it was going nicely so went with it. I've got a super scratched up rotor that I think makes it sound way worse! I really enjoyed the ride, Jacob is getting better and Karl is annoyingly getting good at waking upto instant new move learns. I'm just getting better at drinking coffee and making noises.
  22. Ten Years! Wow, do it again!
