I haven't really tried to find him as its all abit recent and I've not really made up my mind. I think I'll find a name and go down the looking him up on Facebook route and just see what I feel then. After sleeping on it I almost don't see any gain unless he's super rich haha. The big negative in my head is that there's a difference wanting to contact someone when they're grown up to being there when they're growing up and that'll always piss me off. Cheers for the comments it helps, sorry to hear that Mad man Mike!

I don't really know who to talk to about this and I'm not posting a feel sorry for me thread no sympathy please I am just confused and don't know how to feel about this. Basically I've recently changed my name back to what I was called at School, after having some family problems from my step dads side I don't really want to be associated with THEM although my documents have always been the same so it's only on Facebook I used my step dads name. That aside since doing so I've been told by my mum that my real dad has tried to contact me countless times and has been to my grandparents to ask them and tried over Facebook but hasn't been able to find me because he didn't know about my mums change of name and mine. My situation is that I have a really good connection with my step dad he's been in my life since I can remember and as far as I am concerned he is my dad, this is the first time I have had to call him my step dad and it's strange. I don't want anything to change that but I am now left thinking about it and honestly don't know what to do, I know that there's a chance he will now find me on Facebook and I get a message, but knowing that he has Facebook I could just ask for his name and search for him myself? I also know that he lives local so I have probably seen him before and knowing my luck done a job at his house or something daft. He could have kids of his own I don't think that I would want anything to do with them I don't really know what I want right now, I don't need a dad I have one but what do you guys think? Will it eat away at me or can I just sweep it under the carpet.

I put 24" wheels on my Marino 26" street frame and used disc it felt ace, I started on the same gear ratio but ended up moving down a sprocket size on the rear, having vertical dropout's might be a good thing for once It feels slightly long for a 24" with the longer chain stays but it's worth it, especially running disc.

I also left it until the last minuet it's not something that's really been on my mind although I am now excited to come down. Out of interest when is the last available time to book a ticket as I have a friend who's not going to be able to confirm until later tomorrow and by that time it'll be cutting it mighty fine for postage options.

Sounds like a keeper, though a huge hint she wants you out of the house more? I haven't seen one of those frames before.

Ha pretty much, it's kinda the only thing I might regret about the frame but it's also a tad longer so I felt that might make it feel about right (for me). Going back from the Inspired to my older geo felt good for some things but also felt like a step back on other's so I'm hoping the slight change's make for the best of both. I'm now just toying with what stem to run with the Arcade bars that is niggling me.

I'm sure there's a few people repping 75, I think Ben Rowlands was on 75.5 at one point. I'll be moving up to 74 though so don't worry, it'll be more like a longer console, my current geo is, 1015 wb +20 bb 73.5 ha 367 cs 670 reach so it should work out at 1012 wb +25 bb 74 ha 371 cs 674 reach The forks will be 30 rake like my current ones only with no disc tabs and I also wanted the dropouts to not be machined away like the current ones (for looks only).

Team riders he uses Peruvian farts.

Just had a quick read of the thread and it seems to be back firing which is a shame, take it to tarty days and see who can hula hoop it for the longest

Marino frame, forks and headset. Freshly welded, heat treated and finished The first of the parts arrived little bit's and bats that seem to be always really cheap on chain reaction cycles. The majority of the parts are coming from Trials addict who I have been lucky enough to have been on the team for the last 2 years now. The hubs, spokes, nipples, rear cog, lockring, tyres, chain, adaptor and rotor are all from Ben. The rims are from Sponge. Laced my wheels up this morning and ran them over on the truing stand and pretty happy with how the colours came out in the end, for the last year or more I have had purple hubs, silver spokes on purple nipples and thought that I'd quite like to mix things up slightly so opted for black and blue spoke/nipple combo. The parts left to get for the build now are, Saddle, Pair of cranks from DMAN, Pair of Arcade bars, Pair of brake pads (I will be using my spare m810 with new rotor also). Ain't finished totally yet but here's it so far....

Edit: Myself and a few others are just going to come down at some point in the next month or so regardless now. Just so we have a fixed date all 4 of us are free to work from.

After seeing Deadline a while back Gattett Reynolds has been my all time favorite bmx rider, I even watched him not get into the finals for Simple Session this year simply just to watch him ride! To make up for not getting into the finals this has happened....... http://bmx.transworld.net/videos/red-bull-garrett-reynolds/#K0qxHIvqHVpTPHyk.97 YES.

Trials Addict have just started stocking Jitsie products and I think they might do the hats for a pretty decent price. Phoenix riders co also have their own hats (might be low on stock at the moment but should still have a couple in).

June would be pretty good if a date can be posted up.

Just a heads up to those who care this weekend DIGBMX.COM are doing a 48h only free full DVD preview of "The Finer Things" which is worth it if any of you haven't seen it

I had the same sort of thoughts running through my head at the start of the year only I was more worried about the cranks stripping on the screw on threads, I've only ever seen the Tryall, echo spanish style and Trialtech bottom brackets snap on riders so the cheaper heavier bottom brackets are a good shout for strength.
-
Yeah I thought that it was a bolt through hub and for some reason forgot about the forks not being arcade. I have a spare pair of QR end caps brand new if you fancy a swap?

No idea what the plan for the skewer is I presume that's for something else? Bike's going to look sweet!

Enjoyed this, I found it good up to other edits too especially with spending less time on filming this one. Endo bridge on the block to footjam into 180 makes you an official Ozonys rider

it sounds like your bearings haven't been seated totally up against the axle at first so it still span free then putting your cranks and pushing it that extra little bit has caused the problem. I had to get a pair of calipers and do a bit of sanding on a frame thanks to Mark for helping me out with how to do it. It was a pretty crap job because my frame was steel should be fine on your echo. I'd probably take it back to the bike shop that fitted it and see what they think too, Maybe the bearings aren't pushed in fully and you're just pulling one side .5mm into the axle and that's the problem.

For me the amount of pop you had into that wallride was annoyingly good! Cool riding from both and captured well
-
Can't believe you're selling after such a short time, Thought the Inspired would be right up your street! I guess the scene near you is mainly tgs/compy style riders but still. Come down for a ride one weekend and have a decent day out on the bike.

All I ever see when people buy second hand Astra van's that have been done up is the shit storm of things that seem to go wrong on them. Where as the Caddy van's are pretty good you just seem to get people putting some nice wheels swap seats maybe colour code and a re-map at most on them. Either way with £3000 you're looking at high mileage so you need to try look for something that's not been over worked for sure. Edit: Also my insurance dropped from a bog standard Partner 1.6 69 HDI van to my Caddy 1.9 140
