  1. The bean you probably know as it's near the centre, the uni has some new additions to it also the college just down the road from the uni has a few new lower down walls freshly build and lots of blocks and so on.
  2. They're going to continue to make the element forks also? Having that choice is better.
  3. Props to the French, on video you can fault their style but in person it's really good to watch, both can go big and both make a lot of stuff look easy. Jack does just make everything look like warm up, English style shines once again.
  4. The one piece bottom bracket Inspired use on their aluminium frame should be something other companies follow on from, it sells itself. I am going to be riding something that hasn't got that and if/when I snap it I know that it will be in this area where as just having that one piece bottom bracket would at the very minimum double the life span of that frame for myself. Pointed out by a friend but the new range of forks (if you buy individually) now come with a shorter steer tube which is a major step back seen as the Inspired forks appeal to riders for having that extra bit. Would that be something Inspired would be willing to go back to? I know I am not the only rider running over 200mm
  5. You can ask while ordering the TMS 985 version for a KMC 510/610 chain instead of what comes with the bike and it actually instantly makes it just over 995mm and the bottom bracket isn't high at +20. The reach of the frame is also 670mm. I would say you get the most bike out of the Inspired or TMS for the money.
  6. I'd say Console, riding was really nice, prefer him on 24" way more style.
  7. This, although I would like to see Echo or Trialtech make a axle and spacer (for between the bearings) so it's more like other systems.
  8. I just saw a post on Facebook of a guy selling a 24UK with a pro 2 and the spacing was quite far over pic below: It does look a pretty ghetto build but the cranks don't look bad I imagine you'd need to be looking at something similar. You hear stories about how no 24UK frames seemed the same though. EDIT: It's £150 for the build, used his picture for your post might as well say how much it is going for...
  9. I have (as said on Facebook) a few spare bits kicking around I would let you have. Will when next in the garage take some photos and list out some stuff.
  10. Loads of riders have no issues fine running them with the Truvativ set-up's (that come standard) so I imagine you'll be fine.
  11. Nice video G just came on to watch it again, you shouldn't be depressed by your riding it should be one of the things you are proud about. Not many people can switch on and off brakeless like you seem to and do those moves like that.
  12. I would never say no to a Bristol ride, as people found out by the DJ ride the turnouts to group rides are pretty low in numbers these days which needs to change so I am keen. Also remember the ride Ben mentioned above it was a shock to the system to hear the week after what happened. Great opportunity to show your respect, see your friends you don't always get to and have fun. RIP!
  13. The cnc'd Hashtag version and the above drilled out styles both bring worry to me. They bring out a good idea and spoil it by overly trying to save weight or just make it look fancy for the sake of it. Those cranks without the drilled holes would be sweet!
  14. Loved them all but liked the old school factor Stephens had, well played man!
  15. Cheers guys, I'm having a few minor set-up related issues which is driving me crazy with faith in the bike of recent which is a huge bummer so changes are soon to me made. Hopefully can have that same reaction afterwards (Aluminium is coming).
  16. You never stop going on about Wales! Great read on Cleanzine, more updates should happen. What move bent the cranks?
  17. What year GU? I would say you're not far off with a 120, Trialtech do some good low rise 26" stems that are more suited to that sort of frame. The 130/150 stems are for newer style frames like the new GU and such with a shorter reach (bb to headset length).
  18. Fair amount of power behind you, shame it wasn't longer. Good work!

    gloves/grips

I find the Cult/Vans waffle grips don't really kill your hands and last a fair while (just a option).
  20. Looks like a normal drop in headset to me (not tapered).

    SAW Bikes

I have nothing to do with SAW bikes, Trials addict recently got samples but chose not to take it any further due to quality. It appears even as a starter bike they're not up to the job.
