Ben Rowlands is also a giant like you and he had no trouble on a 24..... Main difference between the two (other than the wheelsize) is the reach on the Hex is 15mm bigger so will feel slightly more comfortable I'd have thought. Shouldn't hold you back though as it's nothing the right bar/stem combo couldn't fix

Yeah it's a decent enough starter bike but the only downside is it's not very upgrade friendly. If he got into it you'd be looking at upgrading to a slightly better bike with 19" rear wheel and the option for hydraulic rim/disc brakes but at that price I can't imagine you'd lose much money selling especially on something like ebay. Or you could outlay a bit more to start with and buy a bike with 19" wheel and decent brakes which if he gets into it would last longer with the potential for upgrades. Depends how much you want to spend.

In a similar weird way when I imagine myself doing something or remember something happening I can't visualise it from my perspective I see it more from the 3rd person

I can picture myself doing stuff but can't transfer that into reality. Like with up to fronts, I've got the technique in my head from watching, people and videos, tutorials, etc but when it comes down to actually trying everything seems to happen so suddenly. I watch people and it's as if they're riding in slow motion as I can see each element but my brain almost can't process the information properly.

You're correct this is trials forum so quit being a whiney bitch and suck it up. I'm here to moderate what goes on and my comment stands, keeping your videos in one thread (especially with the frequency of them) saves the Videos forum from being whitewashed with all your content which could cause other peoples media to get lost. Never heard of them and to be honest I don't think you can go wrong with standard Hope or Shimano rotors with Trialtech or Jitsie pads for trials specific

Yeah that was my kind of time, finished school for exam leave in late spring 99 and spent every single day out riding rather than revising. Didn't really pay off though as I was still shit but having fun
