  1. I'd kill for the 'Classic Tee' style shirt with the Clean logo on it, would be the nuts! Really liking the designs, you're onto a winner with this
  2. I have a Nokia Lumia 920, and although it has all those annoying features you talked about it's actually nice to use. It also integrates facebook chat with texting, which can be really helpful but also the most frustrating thing on the planet. Nokia moved away from the whole 'cram as many useless features as you can into one tiny phone so it's impossible to use' craze, and developed a really nice OS which is customizable so you can have the important apps bigger, and the less important ones smaller. I had a HTC Desire HD before which was so over-powered by features I would never use, that it was just frustrating. Instead of making the fundamentals of the phone good, such as texting. They decided to make everything worse and try to put a billion features on it which were all not very good. I could also hold my breath for longer than the battery could hold electricity. I do sort of wish that I had a phone that I could leave in my bag like a Nokia 3410, that I could just put my SIM into when I went riding or something so if someone calls me I can talk to them. But if someone replies to one of my tweets, there's no chance of it interrupting me to let me know.
  3. That video was a good watch, nice mix of street and tgs
  4. Have to drop further maths, as there isn't enough time to do all my modules and retake one. And therefore cannot drop anything at the end of the year. But then again, I hate further
  5. For £6 you can always buy some and it's not the end of the world if they are rubbish, if I were you I'd go straight for a pair of Trial Tech sport pads. They aren't hugely expensive and are definitely good enough for what you want
  6. If they are the super cheap ones, I've ridden a bike with them on. They were run on a super harsh grind, had a reasonable bite but little hold. If you haven't got much money, and won't be doing large gaps/drops you might be ok.. providing you're not too heavy either! I must emphasise the grind was seriously harsh though.
  7. Finally got me some car insurance, now to pass la test

  8. I stared at that for about 2 minutes, and everything I now see has that pattern on it! It's also been a few minutes since I looked at it
  9. In order to tell you that's a stupid suggestion, I have to quote your post.. A catch 22 really
  10. Could the Blackberry Torch be the answer to your questions? http://uk.blackberry.com/smartphones/blackberry-torch-9810.html
  11. 1000th post and my 5th dot!
  12. You say, 'a third of children leave primary school overweight' but it that a BMI based calculation? Because that can be so wrong, I'm classed as overweight by their scale. But I play rugby on the weekends and gym twice a week and am not (by my judgement) fat. I do however think that there is scope for people who have medical problems due to them being clinically overweight may have to contribute when having treatment, which could work as a deterrent. This is assuming they are fat of their own accord, which would be pretty much impossible to prove/disprove I think. And also nobody would implement this law, as they would be hated by the world.. But if there is an obesity problem occurring, then surely action will have to take place sometime? It's probably just an information failure anyway..
  13. Life is good right now, emailed a local restaurant/hotel combo at 10:30 last night, had an interview this morning and a trial shift tomorrow. Time to start saving for car insurance!
  14. My first car is on the driveway, so ready to get a months provisional insurance and get going!
  15. Surely the sum to infinity is another way of saying the Nth term? Can't you use, n/2[2a+(n-1)d] ? Where n is infinity, a is the first term, and d is the common difference/ratio? Edit: I missed the point I think, common ratio is not common difference..
  16. C1? You're not alone son! Remember your +C when you integrate and it'll be fine good luck!
  17. I want to hate this.. but I just don't
  18. 'Member organised rides' translates from Polish to English as 'Fights' - love it or 'Ustawki' for the Polish of you.
  19. is that a rockman mod stem? That must feel weird Looks sweet though
  20. It's more about what benefit you're going to give the shop, rather than what route you ride. If you're a nice person, have a good reputation and are eye catching with your riding. Then you'd be a good candidate for them to sponsor as people will take more notice of you. Whereas you could be a great rider, and an absolute penis in person it still wouldn't mean you're a good candidate for sponsorship. Essentially you want to represent the shop, so think about what kind of qualities a shop would be looking for and work on being that rider. hope this helps
  21. That's a good idea, I just managed to force the pin from a one piece chain back into it's hole using a pillar drill! Your idea is easier I dread having to take that chain off now!
  22. wouldn't the sprung clip just catch on the tensioner? Edit: the sprung clip is too wide for the tensioner.
  23. That's really really nice! Frame colour looks good, is it powder coated or sprayed?
  24. Hi guys, couldn't find the RSQ thread so this is the next best place. Should I use a shimano quick link in my chain because I'm running a tensioner? As opposed to using a split link which is just going to come off.. Or are there any alternatives? Cheers, Oli
  25. Ah yeah, hadn't thought about that! That does make the alternative so much better.. Tempted to thread my Inspired Elements actually..
