  1. I could be wrong but I think it was Jamie Williams who I remember had/has a pair of those. Might be worth trying to contact him. Not sure though
  2. Best episode yet in my opinion
  3. Yeah thats complete crap, not sure it deserves to be called glamour though
  4. Thanks! 149euro seems like a hell of a lot of money though
  5. Right cheers Sam! Will try and get round to doing it later
  6. This is just my opinion, others may take a different approach. I would go into Shutter-Priority (Tv) mode, and set a slower shutter speed of between 1/100 and 1/320 depending on how fast the cars are going. Then I would use a panning technique, trying to keep the cars in the centre of the frame. The slightly slower shutter speed will introduce a bit of motion to the surroundings, but if you do it right then the car will be sharp, giving the impression of motion. 1/4000 may not portray the speed very well and could make it look like the cars ain't moving I'd also put the autofocus into AI-Servo which allows the auto focus to track the cars once you have the shutter button half pressed. Good luck and post some of the shots if you get some good un's as I'd be interested to see
  7. Ahh yeah, had never thought of that being the potential cause
  8. Cool I have asked my dad about it but he is convinced that it won't help it at all
  9. Yeah I know George, it sucks Do you reckon a JAF repair would sort it?
  10. Not exactly todays riding, but something I found on my Bionic frame today
  11. Thats because 1080p HD is 2.1 megapixels
  12. I bought a Silver 150mm Try-All 3D (from Tarty) about six months ago and when I received mine I found that the bar clamp was welded on slightly wonky. I didn't notice any problems whilst riding it, so there was/is no reason to send it back. Just thought I'd post this since Mark mentioned that he has never seen an old 3D that is wonky
  13. I had my Trialtech cranks helicoiled by Tarty and they were good as new, never had any problems after they were fixed, never even a hint of coming loose
  14. This: and this: Good luck
  15. What makes it a nice picture in your opinion?
  16. Looks awesome! How are you finding the Monty Tyres, specifically the rear? lol
  17. Can either of you point out a particular part where he is totally out? I am positive that it is my shoddy audio syncing
  18. Yeah, I kept that in mind throughout the editing process, but didn't have many clips for some parts, so I ended up leaving it which explains why there is some 10 or 15 second gaps between cuts Will definitely improve on that next time Haha I have told him that today I think he looks okay whilst playing, but I told him your comment anyway As far as the colour, the lighting was awful (Something I hope to improve greatly as we progress), and so the footage definitely lent itself to monochrome. I'm sure had you have seen the clips in colour that you would agree. Yeah Tom doesn't really enjoy being on camera that much, so just zones out a bit Next vid will hopefully have much more enthusiasm. Funny stuff. Tom struggled to keep in rhythm as he couldn't use headphones (due to the way we recorded audio. Either that or my audio syncing is sh*t. Haha, Tom got the track from this site: http://www.karaoke-version.com/custombackingtrack/red-hot-chili-peppers/by-the-way.html
  19. Cool video dude, some quality riding there!
  20. Hey guys, Not sure if this will get any interest here, but I'll try anyway Yesterday me and my good mate Tom made a video of him performing a drum cover of 'By The Way' by Red Hot Chili Peppers. We are both really happy with how the video has turned out, and have learned a fair bit about what to do differently next time. http://www.vimeo.com/65013926 Please check the video out, and leave some feedback if you enjoyed (or if you didn't + why) Lewis.
  21. Cool stuff! How did you manage to do the double exposure on a Canon (assuming you used the 5D)? Always thought that feature was a Nikon only kind of deal On another note, I bet you never run into a situation where there isnt enough light to handhold, given you have that sensor performance coupled with f/1.4 lenses Must be incredible!
