  1. £180 to get my car back from impound. Well that's me taught.

Parked on single yellow line for 30 mins and it got towed. Can't think of any grounds to appeal on. My fault really, I certainly wont be doing that again!

      Thats gutting mate :(

  2. So you should be! I get about 34mpg. Damn thirsty zetecs.
  3. Ouch. This happened during today's x games rally cross practice. Should these jumps be allowed? http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=mgBVLJsLThQ
  4. Nice, I need some lows. Doing bodywork sucks. Mid-way and after shots: One side of the car is now looking pretty good.
  5. Do the newer slaves have a problem with the pistons swelling? Just curious since I have a 2011 lever body attached to older slaves that has worked perfect on a water bleed for at least 8 months.
  6. So jealous, really liking both your bikes. Blog looks pretty good now, I'd maybe adjust the positioning of some items to make it sort of cleaner. That's just my initial thought, and maybe that's not what you're going for. Will be cool to see what you come up with for the next video.
  7. I've never understood how they manage that! My bike is close to 11Kg, I don't think it makes moves harder, I'm just crap! The only thing I dislike about the weight is the way it's distributed, it's quite rear heavy.
  8. I see what you mean about the turbo basically providing hot air, but a cold intake will still help to get more oxygen in there...
  9. The main principle behind using a cold air intake is that cold air is denser than hot air, so has a higher concentration of oxygen which improves combustion. Edit: not sure about the turbo situation though.... The engine is still getting some of the cool air whether there's a turbo or not........
  10. I had a wobble board to sort my ankle, I'm sure they must do something to help but frankly I have no idea what. Strange that you have to get one yourself, I was given one by the medical practice. Is there a local medical practice surgery type place you could ask for equipment?
  11. It's the statuses from many of my fellow Scottish "friends" that annoy me, why are so many of them against England? It's just scummy and embarrassing.

Gutted for Romain too. I don't know how Alonso managed that, very impressive. I like seeing Lotus do well, it's hard to support a single team, especially when there's more than one "British" team.
  13. An actual advert for a car on craigslist:

Good idea. I don't have any parts in mind but I do intend to make something over summer, just for practice sake.
  15. Awesome, you've been riding for slightly less time than me but you're way better. Definitely gonna get a more streety style bike when I've got the cash. Keep up the good work!
  16. Pretty damn cheap at £34 a piece. http://www.camskill.co.uk/m53b0s99p1667/TOYO_TYRES_CAR_TOYO_T1R_PROXES_TOYO_T1_R_-_195_50R15_82V_TL_ Camskill seem to vary which sizes they have on offer, the 55 profile ones of that size are £50 at the moment, so take a look through the varies sizes and see what's cheapest. I've heard you can get tyres fitted and balanced at around £10 a corner, I'm going to find out if that's true soon.
  17. New rubber for the focus. The tyres currently fitted are dangerously bad in the wet. There was one occasion where I almost couldn't pull away at the lights on a wet hill due to the lack of friction. It was quite embarrassing really.
  18. As above, you might want a lower pressure in the rear tyre. The technique slowly comes to you with practice but keep in mind that small minimal movement hops are best.
  19. Was weird seeing Andrei and co do a demo at a car show today, didn't even know they were going to be there!

  20. I get 500Mb a month, no problem if you mostly use wifi or just do basic browsing, but if you watch too many youtube vids or use google maps a lot then it could easily run out. This doesn't help with your question, but I personally think sim only contracts are best.
  21. +1 for SunnyBoy's first suggestion with the fading strip over the top of the writing, it gives it a sort of "racy" performance orientated feel.
  22. I love the sound of that king hub on the marino. Really cool video.
  23. I don't think anyone posted this here, but it's already got quite a few views on youtube. [media=]
  24. Are you running Table Tops? They are scary as hell in the wet, good luck!
