Everyone used to run 22 and a road cassette. I miss the ability to go mega fast at stuff, but I don't miss bashing off the hanger...
Bottom cog is good enough to get up some decent speed in a sprint.
I did actually ride today. I was shit but hey - I did at least have a go.
Back on topic, got to watch on the big telly with sound up today. It's just brilliant start to finish
I particularly love the the two bench bit though - perfect.
Ha, that's funny, I realised after I posted that it probably didn't quite make sense and I didn't know which bit was at 01:04 (I still haven't looked) but it was probably brilliant and worthy of mentioning so left it.
I wish the "sack of spuds" bike noises had been toned down a bit.
Other than that it was pretty darn hot!
wasn't too interested in the bangers - its the techy trials bits that blow my mind.
Once you break traction and lock the wheels you are surely typically reducing the friction between the road and tyres? So surely having the abs reduce the pressure and regain traction is going to stop you quite a bit faster? I'll agree it's not going to be as good as being able to be on the edge of skidding constantly. But for it to kick in surely you've gone past that anyway. Or as part of the system is it thinking emergency braking and adding in force? I'm pretty sure that happens in some systems?
