  1. Bored.com\wanttoride.html Anyone want to come ride with me? Can get to mansfield area, or theres a cuppl of skateparks around ( 1 public 1 paid indoor)...dont mind what u ride or skill level. Let me know, I know its random
  2. The more you ride, regardless of how tired you feel and achy, the more you will be able to ride. Eat Warm up.(stretching & tensing is best for me) Ride till exhaustion Warm down (Stretch & Rub muscles) Eat Sleep. Have a day off if you want. Keep going when achy / still go out if achy, and just do smaller stuff and general riding around, walk, sit down a sec, have a drink. CARRY ON When you're using muscles they develop, even if they are tired and have been used a lot, they still gain the memory and get better stamina as a result of constantly doing the same thing. They also get stronger, it makes lasting longer easier. I just thought of it like if your an animal hunting, you dont stop hunting because your tired, otherwise youd not eat and be able to hunt...so trials is hunting! And your reward is food when you get home. ("If I do this wall I will get cheeseburgers!") If u think like that then your probably as mental as me I generally stop riding when I feel my fingers cant grip the bars properly and im physically shaking, then I just dont feel safe. I think out of a full day out, depending on how far between spots you ride, you only do about 20% actual trials. Not the same for everyone, like if you are at a trials park and not riding around stopping for food etc its probably close to 40%. nobody can trial all day lol... imagine one section that lasted 8 hours or more... nobody would complete it...
  3. Id get some foam grips incase you dont like the ones on it. Some better brake pads I think depending on whats on it. But it should all be fine as it is Cheers and your welcome.
  4. Dual disk just means it has disk brakes on both wheels. If where you will ride is very wet and rains a lot disks would be good. If not it dosent really matter. If you are in the army then you are smart enough to fix a bike. Check things are tight, follow online instructions and info on here and you can't go far wrong. Hay if you want that bike and have the funds then thats your choice... do you want that bike? Thats how I pick hehe. I prefer less street more comp style bikes but I ride a bit of everything from street to rocks and I like 20" (small bike)... it would help if you could try a friends bike but I know thats not possible. Have a look through pictures of people's bike's on this forum and keep reading things and you will know soon what you want
  5. Welcome to the forum and to the world of trials. Hope you enjoy it. Heres what I started out doing. 1: Just ride around on the bike 2: Go for a longer ride around on the bike. 3: balancing with and without brakes on 4: find a small step or curb/road edge and go up and down it. 5: balance with front or back wheel on a step After that try on some flat ground: Pull up/back with back brake on, try to get front wheel off floor. Then with the brake off, pedal and pull back to wheelie and stop the wheelie with back brake. After a while, Balance on back wheel. Then its pedal kick time... You could try all that in 1 session or devide it up and change it round. It's up to you. The more time you spend on the pedals the better you will get. Visualise things in your head will help. Watch videos and keep practicing. Most importantly, Have Fun Cheers.
  6. Isnt a queef when a woman farts out her front flange? Thats what southpark says anyway. THEY TOOK MY FAME... DUK ERR DURRR! I don't think ill watch any of the videos, riding may be good, personality is abysmal! Put me right off anything with that name in it. Cheers
  7. I found pro pads much better...
  8. Trends, I belive. Staying with the changing times etc, new technology. But its probably different for everyone. I prefer 20"
  9. I have mono trial rear and tz front. Both are good.
  10. Thats juat youtube showing the next video, just refresh the page/go back forward. Thats a good start buddy, id reccomend more of the same and then try to get both wheels onto somthing. Keep it up
  11. If your on phone it will be a share button Then share by txt message or anything . Then copy address here. Cheers On my samsung share is like a V symbol with dots... if that helps lol
  12. YouTube.com Upload Watch Copy/paste link Boom! Cheers
  13. Not sure what metal, but try, cant hurt
  14. I like this, gunna order one soon I really need a lid.
  15. I cant think of any way to fix that unfortunatley, looks like a new lever. Have a scout around for sale/wanted. Cheers
  16. Glad to hear that you have fixed it
  17. Id say tighten cranks and pedals first mate before spending money. mine does same click every rotation and its slightly worn splines on the cranks ( not really a bb problem) Aslong as everything is tight I wouldn't worry. Cheers all
  18. Naa they dont mean it will last longer in a competition. They mean "its a comp frame, therfore its light and isnt supposed to last a long time" thats what I read from it anyway.
  19. Cool! Show that my missus mite convince her to try it
  20. I think your asking too much for the design, you seem like you just want to brake it to say "look its shit I broke it".. yet if anyone brakes a koxx "no no, its a "pure comp" frame"... The bike looks great, and probably isn't designed for Damon to jump on, or anyone over X Kg. I see it being suited to light riders <= 75kg If your too fat for it then dont buy one , When you buy anything you decide if its suitable for you. Dosent make it bad if its not suited to you.
  21. Are you sure its cracked and not just gouged/scratches? May be okay if its not cracked all the way/leaking fluid. Try some home repairs firstly. Some kind of sealant tape? Just test before you ride anything, dont want you falling off.
  22. If u look at my videos I posted in "video of todays ride" I look a massive cock, but as I get better, the style and apparent ease of trials comes in.. iv had my bike a few months now and ride 2 times a week if I can. If after 6 month's you feel the same then consider changing stuff, I dont think its the bike its just your not used to it yet. I thought my bars were too low but left it for a while then put another spacer in and it dosent make too much difference. It was just me thinking it didn't feel right. Now I dont want to change much and am happy with how it feels. My friend is the same. Hes got a 20 and says he feels too big for it, but I dont think he is, he just needs to give it more time as he dosent get to ride as oftern as me. He feels like the bike is limiting his ability but its his testicle's/confidence on the bike. So to recap, give it more time, if you still feel like its not right try a small change of bar angle or a spacer or different tyre pressure etc. Then buy stuff /new bike as a last resort. Cheers
  23. Just leave em, wait till they stop bleeding and heal, then just carry on. Ignore and persevere. After time they will be solid and wont bleed.
  24. I cant say really, I haven't broke any stems yet. But just think and research info. Like is forged stronger than cnc or welded etc, and materials its made from steel ally or carbon, then actually look at pics and videos too see if it looks decent quality, finally look for reviews of it online.
