  1. Agree with Ali, his style is pretty effortless. That bunnyhop at 1:30 is huge. Have to say though it wasnt the greatest display of his riding I have seen and definatly prefer his riding on a stock.
  2. Guessing you mean the old GMP trials frames not that abomination above. They getting on a bit now so check for cracks in the paint work that could indicate areas about to fail. I remember thinking they were pretty nice at the time but they must be 5+years old now This is the stock.
  3. Hope mine does too. Budget dell laptop. Has 3gb of ram though so fingers crossed.
  4. Ali you do realise its died twice already and your parents keep replacing it with similar cats
  5. Keep the camera and buy a better lens. Any of the sony SLRs produce good image quality (maybe not amazing but good enough) I assume you are using the kit lens? Perhaps buy a 28mm prime. (50mm equivalent and can be had for £100 for a 2.8) If you decide you are a professional and heck your pete wright so maybe you already are, the best cameras available for a combination of features IQ and value are Nikon D300 and Canon 7d in crop sized sensor and nikon d700 and canon 5d mkII for full frame. Remember the Canons have very very good HD video modes (the Nikon d300s has 720p) and the d700 has non however It is my favourite out of the lot due to build quality, speed of use and high ISO picture quality.
  6. Looks good. liked the feel of the video too. random fact as he drank from that green can of relentless at the start I was doing the exact same thing and drinking green relentless! odd.
  7. tap! Ride up to it. pedal to lift front wheel, hit the front wheel against side of obstacle whislt pedaling with your body low and pounce and push bike up under you on top of wall. (watch coustellier or vincent hermance videos for perfect execution.) You are riding a pashley though so maybe just a big bunnyhop?
  8. Definitely girl but if it was Car it would 100% be a Ferrari 250 GTO. Day would start driving from uni to home up through peak district alone at dawn. Pick up my dad drive back to uni via peak district.(he can get train home). Pick up the girlfriend (edit:why the hell did i put wife before) and go for nice lunch somewhere) drop her off, pick up my best mate and rag it down to London whist finding awesome b roads on the way (obviously this would take a bit of planning lol). Get to London as it goes dark and drive round the centre for couple of hours in a £10million car lol then rag it back home on motorway. Actually, wish I voted care now, that day would be epic
  9. It might weigh the same but the heavy tools has long back end, short wheelbase and low bb. the zenith is long wb, short back end and mid height BB. It will be MUCH more stable on back wheel. Nicer to tap/gap/side. and low standover will make it much easier to ride on big moves and on natural Your comparing a small xc frame to a modern comp bike. (technically I know its not a short xc frame but not far off)
  10. I think Ive solved in. Googled the problem last night and went through a few solutions that I could try myself. One was a problem with the ram, Took out 1 stick of ram and its working fine. booted up, copied all my photos and uni work onto my external. I assume there was a problem with the stick. Guessing I can just buy another 1gb of ram and back to normal but not 100% on that (dont fancy just running 1gb ram with PS and lightroom open at the sametime). Glad it was something simple.
  11. RIght so need to get my pc fixed. Pretty good with technical stuff but not never done much with computers. I know whats what and where though. Haven't bothered buying a HD enclosure yet as didnt need the work because already missed the deadlines(works handed in just with a thin research file). If I buy one and plug it into my laptop will it just work as an extra drive. not try and boot anything up etc.? I have two 250gb hds that work together as one drive( dunno if that makes a difference)
  12. Wouldnt covered under extenuating circumstances unfortunatly. How do I go about connecting hard drive up to my laptop?
  13. Just tried that. No avail. Ill get it out later and check all the connections. still got some uni work to sort out at the moment. If it is graphics card whats a good replacement (not too expensive, use the pc for photo editing and no modern games) and i take it its not plug and play?
  14. Computer turns on and sounds like its booting up yet monitor claims theres no signal. Monitor comes on when Xbox is plugged in through VGA (pc is plugged in with digital socket) So pc turns on, monitor works yet no picture comes up!. absolute joke as had a third year uni module in for today. Stayed up all night finishing it and now cant f**king access it and hand in time has just gone so had to hand it in shoddily finished Anyone got an ideas ps it has done this before and then later it just worked. I unplugged it, plugged it back in, checked all cables, no idea. Thanks in advance (btw on my laptop atm) Edit meh just turned it on and its making a clicking sound. perfectly uniform and sounds like a click track on a recording setup? still not working though
  15. It doesnt cost much really. its a long job and a lot of effort (not saying its hard but takes concentration) Id happily pay Adam (or whoever does it now) to build me a wheel ( I have infact in the past )
  16. Tuna/chicken/egg (pref without the yoke) wraps. Cook the chicken/eggs in morning and stick it in fridge. then eat when required.
  17. looks awesome. leave it silver!
  18. Looks great. the build is questionable though however I know you ride BMX so makes more sense. Personally Id set it up with a monty stem, trials tyres and push in mini seat. Still looks great fun though.
  19. Dont you remember the religion topic?
  20. Didnt know you lived in hebden now. I need to come out with you guys sometime. Bike looks great.
  21. That Kindda Ka looks unbelievable Theme park rides are weird, the thought of them is pretty scary in theory but the safety levels are huge. The rush for me on rides is hoping that it doesn't break, not the high speeds and turns just the thought I could fallout scares the sh*t out of me yet its still great fun (except on oblivion which actually feels like I am going to die everytime I go on it when it drops and the weight of the car drags you in to a hole in the floor)
  22. Yes but can you do it without brakes? Thats kind of the point By the way your arguments crap
  23. Shit that you cant get back but you ll definitely qualify for an extension due to extenuating circumstances so don't worry about that. if your worried ring up your uni dept and explain it.
  24. Be careful doing bench alone. try and always have a spotter or just by a bench and use dumbbells (although 30-40 kg dumbbells are pretty pricey) Last thing you want is to get stuck on last rep with 70-80kg hovering above your neck.
