  1. I found the best way to deal with it was to vote myself out of Britain! I now live in Berlin (so actually I'm closer to Poland now : ) but the general state of western politics is disappointing. I'm glad that the French presidential election went the way it did - at least there is some sanity left in the world. But listening to the whole Comey/Trump thing, that's another colossal 50 gallon drum of worms...
  2. A divided Britain with no strong leadership, campaigns built on lies and deception. It's just one big shit-fight, it's a f'cking embarassment, even without Brexit.
  3. I don't see how that's remotely a fantastic result.
  4. I wake up every morning thankful for that fact.
  5. Frame/fork colour is really nice, but I just can't get used to these yellow brakes. Is it just a marketing thing? Bright yellow rim brakes looked good 'back in the day', when half of us had bright colours on our bikes anyway, but to me somehow the yellow disk brakes these days just don't look right.
  6. The army used to have a 24 hour enduro competition/exercise somewhere down there, back when the army bikes were still about. I'd like to try riding in an MX competition, but for me it'll probably be a pre-65 one this summer.
  7. K-Speed are in Bangkok, I went to one of their shops when I was looking for bits for my cafe racer project. Yeah 1mm is pushing it a bit! I reckon a 130 will still be ok. Be interesting to know what those tyres are like on the road.
  8. I always wonder if someone will eventually just mount the cranks directly on the rear wheel (like a unicycle arrangement) and have done with it.
  9. Addendum to the above:
  10. I don't know what's more futile, voting for politicians or replying to Dave Anscombe...
  11. Posted dick pics by mistake?
  12. Decent watch that, some really creative lines.
  13. You mean if someone genuinely 'accidentally' misses their pill? Too damn right, to the hills it is, and don't be guilted by any of those cries of "Be a real man and take responsibility!". She sang "Someone like you" and that's one really creepy song. Unless you mean a different one.
  14. That was well done, enjoyed it.
  15. If politicians were guaranteed to do what they say they will then I would too. On the whole politicians are self-serving and just trying to get votes. Look at the Brexit shambles, all these morons duped into thinking that what Farage said was even remotely true. And then everyone ends up like moths at a lightbulb, as if they feel that this time all the things they vote for are going to come true. Ultimately the truth is that Corbyn, May, Clinton or Sanders... none of them are going to save any of our miserable little lives or make this shit show any more enjoyable - only we can do that.
  16. I used to love a good butt scratch, turned out it was worms, and scratching just became part of my life, it blended in to the extent that tearing holes in underwear ended up being a normal daily occurance. Sometime later I decided to co-habit for a while and I thought it unfair that she should have to share a bed with me and the worms. So I went to see a doctor (people had been telling me for ages, "Just see a f**king doctor!") and he asked "How long has this been going on for?" "About two years" I replied. "WTF" his face seemed to say. A simple prescription of three tablets to be taken at 24 hour intervals got rid of the worms and several days later it hit me: I'm not scratching anymore! There really was life after worms.
  17. I'm yet to find anything that feels as natural as the Azonics. I just changed my Arcade bars for high rise TTs - the TTs seem to have more upsweep and aren't that much lower in rise.
  18. I have a 'sticky rib' flavour pot noodle here, Jan 15 date on it, small hole in the lid - good to eat?
  19. I did mine nearly 2 years ago and it was good to get through it all and finally have the licence. It p'ssed me off a bit having to jump through hoops when I could ride a bike anyway, but it's worth it. Good idea to get the theory test done, then it's one more step towards being finished.
  20. Dug out my NSR after about 8 months of it being stored away. Fitted Tyga carbon fibre front mudguard/rear hugger, also did some little jobs like renewing part of the fuel line which was too short (and in danger of working loose) and fitting new float bowl gaskets to the carbs. The idea this time is to have it running properly at the start of the summer rather than at the end...
