  1. Was Steadman on a Pashley 26GHz?
  2. Escort Cosworth (later version) - half the money, twice the fun.
  3. Bargain. So obviously if you tell 'em you want 18 of 2 different sizes they do it. Thanks for pointing that out, I'm building new wheels soon so that's my spokes sorted.
  4. James, how many spokes do you get for that price?
  5. Well mine rides great, better than my old one. Seems just right for virtually anything - up to front wheel, taps, sidehops, etc. I just love it. 1050mm wheelbase, 380mm back end. Head angle at a guess is 72 degrees, with a small BB rise. Obviously the geometry changes slightly with different for/headset combinations - I use a standard Hope headset and Ashton forks. The graphics are slightly different to the prototypes - I'll upload pictures (mine is black) to this thread in the next couple of days.
  6. Mint. That's what everyone should be riding. We should bin all these shitty aluminium boats.
  7. Yes Simon, that must be why. So much to be gained. Nothing to do with his actions or behaviour whatsoever...
  8. Because everything that one person says is usually crap. You're the one with baby talk in your signature...
  9. EDUCATED guess. Mouthing off? Your bag again. I usually do quote you on things you say that are big headed, like, for example, your comments on Ben Savage's (and your own) performance at the UCI champs the other week.
  10. It was my bike you rode yesterday. Sorry I couldn't stick about, you could have had a proper ride on it. If you phone them (Ashton Bikes) on 01656 741927 you can talk to them about the frame or order one. Price is £249 plus postage, and about £70 for forks if you want them (although those forks you had on your PX looked pretty smart!). Frames come in black or red. Ian.
  11. Wayne, big headeded? Don't make me laugh!! If your head was any bigger it would be bigger than this planet. In fact, if I climbed up the hill by my house now I could probably see your head from 100 miles away... The XTP does what it says on the tin (foil). The Levelboss is always an option, and a good one at that. Probably why Wayne chooses to ride one. Horses for courses and all that. Any aluminium frame/parts can brake, just depends what you do with it. Oh, and I found the 'training' comment particularly amusing. Training? For what? That's your problem, you don't ride for fun...
  12. The latest summer craze? What would they know? I suppose to them it's a new fad like microscooters. Ignorant spastics.
  13. How about one of those retarded spastic scabby pathetic puny stingey ropey manky excuses for seats that Echo produce? You know, the little butt plug efforts like Phil Williams had. He even had a bright blue one once...
  14. Ashton Justice... Short (mk1-mk3): 87mm top and bottom Long(er) (mk4): 95mm top and bottom Forks (both types): 82mm
  15. If doing the QR up tight jams the freehub, try replacing the aluminium bush that sits on the axle between the freehub and the hub body, or try rebuilding the hub without the rubber seal.
  16. I had a sort of Hans Rey replica GT about 5 years ago, and I leant it to my brother and he crashed and ripped all three bolts out of the Kore Lite 3 stem. I was pissed off not only because of the damage to the stem but because I missed most of the Urban Tour waiting in hospital for him to get cleaned up.
  17. Does seem strange that people spend more money on a sound system for their car than they do on one for the home... but yeah, a mate of mine ran 2 12's, 2 8's and 4 6x9's off his home stereo. There were a couple of amps in there too, god knows how he wired it all up. Looked dodge to me. His parents weren't too pleased...
