I never had an issue with my evo mounts, mind you i ditched the QR clamp and the floating booster and clamped the booster properly both sides and ran allen key Vee bolts on the main mounts. Made it the same as a 4 bolt mount really aside from being bulkier.

I couldn't find any decent adsl providers so went with virgin. Been with them for 3 years and had 2 days with no internet. Had written warning a week before on the first occasion and second time the modem was replaced by an engineer the same day. Always great connection speeds. I heard BEthere were good, and owned by o2 which offered the same package. No download limits last time i checked.

It should have been a lot shorter. There were parts in there that just didn't need to be in there as well as a lot of really childish humour. It's like Bay can't make up his mind whether it's going to be a serious film or a childish one. Maybe he just has an overly american sense of humour, maybe both. But because of this the film seems to hover in a sort of limbo where you're either thinking it's gotten too serious pretty quick or you get into the action and they spend 10 minutes acting like loons on camera and you wish they'd just hurry along with the OTT "child pleasers" (that sounds wrong, i know). The CGI was really good though and they've learned from the previous films that the upclose camera action doesn't work well with this kind of film. Theres also the slight issue with the main storyline. If megatron was really there for the reason indicated by this film then his pursuits in the previous films don't make any sense, or at the very least would have been in the very back of his mind given the new storyline in this film. The new girl was a bit "meh" too. At least with fox she was integrated in as being the hottie from high school that wasn't interested but eventually whitwicky won her over. That had kind of a storyline to it and it progressed. The new girl was just sort of landed on you with a literal 1 minute "afterthought" backstory to get some eye candy in there from the very beginning. It was good, don't get me wrong. I enjoyed it and i'm glad i went to see it. I thought the 3d was pretty good, very similar to avatar in that it was there but wasn't over the top. I just think they could have chopped a few bits, dropped some characters and made a decision on serious vs silly to make a more coherent film that lasted 2 hours instead of dragging on for quite that long in such an up and down fashion. That said it was better than the second one and maybe on par with the first.

I'm 6'5" and am riding an onza limey 2 with urbans, 5mm of spacers, echo 130mmx15 stem and viz pro 720 bars rocked forward slightly. It is probably the best riding bike i've owned so far and the longest riding thing i've tried as well. Sometimes i still feel a little cramped on this as well though but i have fun on it and can usually throw it around just fine. You can definately get longer than a control if your wanting some more hoppy style riding. A control to us tall folk is similar to how a baseTA26 feels to others.

Simples. On your desktop computer make a share folder with read&write access to everyone on the network and lets say, call it 'music'. On your netbook browse your network, go to your desktop and open the music share folder, drag and drop all music into that. It'll take a while (think mine was 3 hours for 130gb) but once it's done delete the music saved on the nebook hard drive. Then simply direct itunes/winamp/whatever to the network folder for your music and voila! Media sharing available from any device in the house, wirelessly and synced exactly the same for every device as its only one library. Thats what i've done and its been flawless, runs like a dream. If you don't want the desktop on all the time you could get a hard drive with network access and just hardwire it to the router then set up a share in the same way.

Lever length and clamps make little to no difference on how well your pads perform over another pair. Getting a decent pair of pads is only half of the problem, most brakes i've seen over the years have been set up so badly i reckon a gibbon could do a better job. If people aren't going to take the time to learn how to do simple maintenance on their bikes and DO IT WELL then pad choice makes little difference. At the end of the day, you can get just about any pad to work well if you spend a little time and care of how you set it up. I've had a massive amount of pads over the years... plaz crms, rock blues, zoo pads, LGMs, coust pads, heatsink yellows+reds+blues+snowies, phat pads, tensile bubble gums, koxx browns+greens+yellows, onza citrus, joypads, superstar pads, and finally my own neco pads. There's probably more i've forgotten as well but only 2-3 sets that were actually shit. The rest worked better than most other peoples brakes and i very rarely have a brake that doesn't work. The difference is i don't bash them on in 5 minutes and go out on them expecting miracles from the start. I used to spend ages (30 mins upwards) doing each part of the brake, getting the lever in exactly the right place, making sure the bleed was perfect, ensuring the grind is immaculately done and making sure the pads are PERFECTLY aligned to the rim. Obviously i can do it a lot quicker now after 7 odd years riding but i took the time in the beginning to learn properly and it paid off big time. I might have waffled but basically i'm saying most pads can be made to work well, i know rims make a slight difference but not enough to say a certain pad won't work well on that rim at all and if its been ground then rim material usually only affects how long the grind lasts, not a pads performance (unless running smooth). What i said previously was out of all the pads i've used rock blues have been the best peformers and are the pads i stick too now as they've proven themselves to be excellent on a variety of rims and frames that i've used. If i was buying again i'd be getting rock blues and fitting them in cnc backings. Hence my suggestion.

Rock blues have been my pad of choice for a while. Work very well in the wet, better than i do in fact.

Spend the money on a pressure washer instead. Just clean your rims after a comp and they'll be fine. Even a dull grind works well once you blast all the crap off it.

I'd be up for that, seems like forever since i last went there.

My riding day is like that... Just because YOU don't have fun doesn't mean trials as a whole is dead Coming from someone who's been around a lot longer than you, this isn't the first "trials is dead, nobody rides anymore" thread. I read one about a year before you were even on this forum. It's still going, go figure

I'd be looking to land past the edge of whatever it is your gapping as well. I always look to the edge and that's where i land. However looking about 6 inches further than the edge seems to land me on top of it enough to make me sound smooth.

Nope, lame rims for holding a grind.

Used vans (malone) for riding since i started. Not the rubbishy thin ones but the proper thick tongued ones with the vulcanised floppy soles. Much better than etnies i've tried riding in due to the more flexible sole. Highly recommended from me and the vulcanised soles grip to pedals like i don't know what. I don't get a lot of choice mind with a uk 15 shoe size

Mine did this a while ago. My freehub was also really stiff to remove. I ended up taking the axle out of the hubshell and having a look at it. When i reinserted the axle the problem was no more! Dunno what was causing the issue, but thought it was worth a mention.

This move is mostly in the legs. You want to leave your back brake off, preload your leading foot/chain/freehweel and as you pull the bike up the majority of the move is in trying to move your feet out in front of you. To keep it to rear wheel you just pull your bars back at the same time and really exaggerate pushing your feet forwards. Also preloading off the obstacle is a key part. A lot of the upwards motion is taken from your tyres being compressed and then used to aid your height as you bounce down into the obstacle before jumping. Similar concept to pinch gapping only using both wheels.

What sort of spec is the laptop? If you don't want it to slow and crash HD video may not be for you. The laptop is the deciding factor really.

Do you select the games on the website or through the playstation store? I've tried to log in, had the email sent, entered new password but the site is down after trying to log in.

Why Is It Usually Younger People That Ride Mods?
Krisboats replied to piperfraz's topic in Trials Chat
Last time i had a go on a mod it was an onza comp. If i stood up straight the handlebars didn't clear my knees. When you get older and have been riding longer mods tend to begin to limit you. Moving to stock bikes is just an advancement of your riding as things that would need to be negotiated on a mod can just be rolled over on a stock. I personally think the size-confidence factor plays a part as well. I would never trust doing something big on a mod because the bike is just so small, whereas a stock bike feels like if something were to go wrong, i'd be more likely to ride it out relatively unscathed. Maybe that would change if i rode mod more, but i wouldn't have thought so. Obviously there are exceptions to everything and theres probably some 7 foot tall 40 year old hurtling himsellf off buildings on a mod somewhere. -
This will sort it. You have a robot with your details signing in while your not using it.

Would be quite interesting to have a box for your frame and wheel size. Could have a small chart showing the popularity of brands and sizes on the main page for the majority of the forum. -
Last i knew camping was about 30 euros at buthiers for a week. No idea how much petrol is gonna cost. And like said above, ferry is like £30. Maybe £150 all in after food etc is accounted for. It's about 450 miles from leicester. Google maps seems to think thats around £75-80 fuel at 30mpg'ish. £160 fuel there and back per car £30 a person camping cost £30 a car ferry. £90 per person plus food expenses at 3 per car.
