  1. My bb is currently about to rape itself. When are these going to be available? EDIT: Ahhh, i see it's already out. Very nice!
  2. I know you weren't slating the riding, i was just saying a comedic trailer probably wouldn't have worked with the same effect given the sheer scale of his riding. His riding is huge, scary and dramatic. Kinda fits to follow that theme for the trailer. Maybe the recent 'rob dougan - slow mo everything, black and white style' of the past couple of years that was being used for peoples trailers for upcoming vids in which the main focus was them sidehopping curbs has jaded our view on the whole trailer concept. For this one it actually seems kind of reasonbable, especially if the upcoming video follows the recent trend of videos that are approaching 10 minutes in length. I want to see the video now, as i'm sure a lot of people do. If they only link to it through the sponsors website he's done a pretty good job of drumming up traffic for his sponsor, which is the whole reason for releasing it really.
  3. I don't think thats especially fair considering his level of riding and the amount of drama put into most below par videos recently. Some of the things he does are actually nuts.
  4. Trials forum is not a cure for lazyness. Read the f**king manual!
  5. Looked very well produced with a good level of riding. Onto a winner for sure!
  6. Not anything. I've fixed a few hydraulic brake lines by sealing the affected area in araldyte fast dry two part epoxy resin. One held until it was replaced later that week and the other lasted a few months before being hit in the same place again.
  7. I meant can paul spend more than £50 or is that all he has.
  8. A tioga what? Tyre, rim, bars, stem, seat?
  9. Only half the caliper flexed. Admittedly it flexes away from the other side, but one side does stay still
  10. Actually you could place an application for that to be a design patent. The specific shape, size and dimensions would then be taken into account and included in the patent. A design patent is different from a product patent in that it doesn't cover functionality and instead covers form. Design patents cover design, artwork, music and literature and even company logo designs and corporate I.D. Though they vary in title depending on what country you are in. http://www.opsi.gov.uk/acts/acts1988/ukpga_19880048_en_2#pt1-ch2-pb1-l1g17 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Industrial_design_right http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Industrial_design_rights_in_the_European_Union Unfortunately to the O.P. the fact that no design patent was/is still not in place means that anybody can copy it really. Not morally right, but legally... it's fine.

  13. Well fitting the booster over the brake reduces any sideways flex in the bolts and mounting system, where as mounting underneath will only remove frame flex.
  14. What is your secret question? We'll try answering it for you!
  15. No, that's not the truth at all. You only need a tv license if you are using equipment to receive a live broadcast. If there is no aerial cable plugged in and the tv isn't tuned they can't say anything. They can't do you for having a socket at all. They can argue as much as they want about you possibly having a cable somewhere but they can't do anything if you let them in for an inspection and the tv doesn't show a picture when they try using it. Having a socket on its own is not enough to receive a live broadcast. You need the tv, cable, aerial and stations tuned in. Last time i let them in the guy came upstairs to find a tv with a freeview box 3 feet away. He looked dubious but again couldn't say anything as there were no cables.
  16. A tv license is required if you are watching LIVE broadcasts with a separate license being needed by the occupant of each externally lockable room. This includes live internet players such as sky via xbox360 and any live broadcasts via itv/iplayer etc. A license is not required if you are not receiving a live broadcast. So repeats on iplayer and xbox etc are perfectly okay. Also tv licensing have no statutory rights for inspection. They the same rights to enter your home as a door to door salesperson. It has to be admitted or proven. If the cable is nearby but the tv isn't tuned into the correct broadcasting frequencies then they have no grounds to claim against you. To be honest though, theres no reason to let them in to see the cable in the first place.
  17. I didn't mean that as an insult. Its just when most people fall or chainsnap or flip over the bars the natural instinct is hands out and try to minimise damage. Where as you just seem to go limp and non responsive.
  18. Have you ever thought about working with computer animation studio? Your body ragdolls better than anybody i've ever seen! It's like your brain just shuts down at the beginning of each bail. That second bail of yours had no natural instinct for self preservation, you didn't put your hands out or react in any way. You just took the hit. Then this time round you just fall in a heap, again no hands out, all limbs limp like rope. Your arm when you land flops around like a piece of dental floss! Please keep them coming, they're great.
  19. Have you tried running memtest? I'd imagine its far more likely one of the sticks is faulty than any other component. Especially if taking a stick out sorts the problem. Have you tried running each stick independantly for a while, if not you may have been lucky and pulled out the faulty one?
  20. They weren't too expensive to buy but they are very capable speakers. I think amp and centre are the next ones for me, should be able to upgrade to a slightly more powerful amp with HDMI audio for around £50 to £100 once i've sold my current amp. It'd mean a lot less cables as well Would 150" do you? That would be a wall of my lounge.
