If theres a farmfoods nearby they do two 4 pint bottles for £1.50. Can't really complain at that.

Now see thats the one thing i am missing. My A/V receiver won't process audio over HDMI so i'm stuck with just DD or DTS. I'm really looking forward to getting into HD ausio as well.

If you don't have a HD source then CRT's often look better than a HD capable tv. But once you throw a HD source into the mix the flatscreen generation comes into a world of its own. When the HD tv channels are properly integrated it'll be a big mainstream difference, they're slowly cropping up now with a lot more being introduced in the near future. Everyone who has come to my house and watched Avatar in 1080p has gone "crikey, that looks amazing!". Likewise gaming on a non HD set after using a HD one is a dissapointing affair.

Large consumptions of energy drinks release fast acting simple sugars into the body (which is designed for a slower, constant release). This in turn plays havoc with your insulin levels and can lead to depression and anxiety. I've known a couple of people who drank energy drinks frequently and they were always suffering from mood swings. Constant consumption of caffein also lead to nutrients being harder to absorb by the body and studies have shown regular intakes of around 100mg daily often lead to effects such as headaches and lethargy. I don't like the thought of that so i tend to stear clear of them. That and the fact that most taste like absolute crap. I prefer a bottle of water or fresh fruit juice whilst riding.

I've been in one for about 4 years Just started another bout of getting things again now, which is rather nice!

Ha ha, loved it. You should rename it to 'man day'! Monster trucks, trials displays and racecar drifting.... Looked like a right blast.

http://www.shaving-shack.com/merkur-34c-heavy-duty-classic.html Nice razor, i used to have one of those till it was thrown out. Also any order over £10 on that site gets you a free gift, you get to choose and they have sets of 10 blades as one of the gifts. A set of 30 blades wil set you back just £7, which is mint compared to gillette chav razors costing £10+ for just 8.

Have you had a look at the schwalbe big betty? I've just been given a second hand one with part of the sidewall missing and it's really good for pinch protection. 2.4, gooey gluey compound and folding tyre type. weighs only 870g. It's sort of like 1.5 ply by comparison to something like a maxxis minion dual ply for pinch protection.

Thats because it's not zoom in and look for grey We looked for quarries, which are quite obvious then zoom in and see if they're any good for riding. Theres usually something nearby for a guage of size, like a car or building then it's just a case of turning up and trying them out. Short of that it's just a case of driving round on the lookout round the nearby hillsides and fields.

I'm running the standard 2.4 mountain king as my front tyre and i dropped the bike over a 2 foot wall the other day onto grass and it got a 2 inch snakebite. Couldn't believe it! On grass of all things. Bike looks lovely though.

Google satellite view. EDIT: Chubbynuts beat me too it.

Well 1ml of fluid roughly equals 1gram in weight. Given that a spray willl probably only hit 80% onto the frame and the rest on any surrounding surfaces thats 125-150g in weight. It looks really smart though, but i'd probably weight it with a scale before guessing. Mine was about 1kg heavier than i thought it was when i actually weighed it the other day.
-
How did you cover the entire frame in so little paint? Took me half a medium can to do 2 light coats on my stock frame and the can is 500ml. I still missed bits. That's roughly 200-250g. In fact, 50g wouldn't even have done a decent coat on my forks.

Sounds good, i'll zing across a PM for you a couple of days before we go. It is a lovely place. Excuse the quality i rushed them out so they look like crap. -
Other than the fact that generic foam from a can is crap. Makes your skin tight, got loads of chemicals in to help it expand (the gel ones at least have loads) that end up blocking your pores. Even after splashing your face with water they leave it feeling kinda dry. Gillette can stuff has things like isobutane, sodium sulphate and propane in the list of ingredients, where as shaving soaps and lather are nearly all natural ingredients.

Are you the guy that used to have the avatar of a white cat type thing licking my screen?

By the way you say you upgraded to ISIS i presume you were using square taper before. If so, i believe the vast majority of ISIS bottom brackets have smaller bearings but bigger axles. Which would mean you actually went to smaller bearings. Bottom brackets tend to suffer a lot in trials so first thing would be to check that it's secure, check the cranks are sufficiently greased and correctly tightened then if it continues either ride it out (they tend to stop clicking/creaking after a while) or swap it for another one.

Well boumsong is the driver and there is always a spare seat in the car as the bikes only take up 2 seats. I can't imagine it'd be a problem.
-
Can you film with a steady hand? Most people i hand a camera to seem to have tourettes or 'zoomonrandomobjectitus'!
-
Me and boumsong will be looking to make more trips to hathersage now we know how good it is, not too far from sheffield either
