  1. Well i didn't think i had had them for very long but on looking at some old riding videos i was weasring the same shoes i use now and the video was dated 2004. T^hey looked a bit mucky in the vid too so i can only assume i've had them for longer than that. So that works out at easily under £10 a year.
  2. I think we're currently lokoing at anywhere along the footpath between fiddlers elbow on burbage moor and fox house on hathersage road. +53° 19' 27.77", -1° 36' 12.29" (53.324381, -1.603414)
  3. I didn't realise they were so cheap. I might be inclined to try a custom geo one to give me a tgs bike that actually fits me. 1250mm wb +35mm bb rise 380 chainstays etc. It'd be a beast!
  4. 13 is fine, i've been a size 15 since i was 16 years old. Vans skate shoes have always been great for me. Walk tall and high and mighty sholuld sell them though with a 13 i'd imagine you'd have a much greater choice of manufacturers (DC etc). Large chunky skate style shoes won't make your feet look so ridiculously long and thin either.
  5. Not today, but close enough. New bike, entirely new gapping technique (which still needs refining).
  6. Sand the pads flat. You're going to lose material now but if they're wearing at an angle you'll lose more later with a shite brake until they're dead. I use a belt sander, but if you're VERY careful you can press them onto the flat surface of a spinning angle grinder disc. This is pretty dangerous though, pads sometimes fly out your hand, you've got a spinning disc next to your arm, if you press for too long instead of short sharp presses you'll melt your pads. Also, make sure the material is glued into the backings. Glueing my phat material made a massive amount of difference compared to just pressed in.
  7. Yeah maybe, what sort of time?

  8. Video 1, 1:19 in, i'd be so pissed at the guy who left his bike on the floor Sounds funny though. What is the prize, couldn't see it anywhere. Also, video 2. Some type of plastic? Seemed rather bouncy.

  10. There nothing wrong with that chain other than the fact it's stronger than yours Cheers mate, switched it off for you now

    Im Back !

I was at a place in leicester explaining to someone how you tapped a wall underneath an overhanging ledge then bounced the bike around the ledge, only to land on top. It's still one of the best things i've seen someone pull off to this day.

    Im Back !

I was actually talking about you the other day, nice to see you back. Hopefully catch up again for a ride sometime soon.
  14. Cheers guys, i'm really just waiting on my middleburns coming back now then for payday on friday so i can swap some money for a new stem with tarty.
  15. Auto Mod Please use the Best Of The Internet for topics like this.
  16. Not quite under £150 but i'd recommend either this one or a samsung one.
  17. We didn't bring raoul moat into anything, but an example of internet and social non/conformity.
  18. Where do you get your news? He updated his facebook page numerous times explaining his intent before he did anything and upon his death a tribute page was made under the title of "RIP Raoul moat you legend". Thousands of people posted on there agreeing with him and praising his actions which caused complete uproar within the general public and media.
  19. Weather looks like it should hold up until this afternoon/evening. Can someone pm me their mobile number in case me and boumsong are a little late?
  20. The stated fact wasn't 'you'd survive for 90 seconds without dying' though.
  21. To be fair though, that's only a chamber without an atmosphere. It doesn't take into account radiation, high temperatures in direct sunlight (obviously no o-zone layer to protect and no suit either), extreme minus temperatures in shade not to mention all the debris and rupturing of the surface blood vessels due to massive amounts of swelling.
  22. Well here's the other pictures. Got a couple of things i'd like doing with it still. Got a whole list of parts that i want to buy and in doing so i reckon i can shift another 1.3kg off the bike. Which would drop it in at well under 9kg!
  23. I was looking through them all earlier and saw those ones. They're definitely going to be my next set of bars. I might need to re-spray them though, the graphics are a little over the top!
