  1. I get that too, happened often a while back...havent noticed it for a while now though
  2. That was a little bit good to watch
  3. Nice work! How has making the pedals more concave at just that point improved them? I would have thought it would need to gradually dip down rather than suddenly like yours? Not a criticism, just curious!
  4. The glamour shoots are hilariously bad. The trouble is, to lots of people those photos will look really good/they will assume they must be good because the camera looks like a professional one. 'I pride my photographs on naturality, no studios, no lights, no editing, just capturing the moment as it is and creating those forever memories.' .............ha
  5. My Olympus Pen has the option to use a digital zoom feature, so that you can focus in on a specific area, It's really handy for your kind of issue. Might be worth looking to see if your Canon offers that?
  6. Mike hasn't been driving that long iirc, so that will make a mahoosive difference as he won't have much NCB
  7. That Ax looks like it needs some proper attention... seriously sort that rust out!
  8. Got a puncture on the rear, which is easily repairable however I have just noticed that the tyre has also had a repair on the outer edge which is naughty I believe? Is it technically illegal to run the tyre with that repair on it? If so I had better get saving for 2 new tyres
  9. Frame looks great! Would it be too far to do the forks too?
  10. Thats easy enough to sort! Yeah I did wonder about carrying it on a bit more, just wasn't sure how necessary it was really. Hoping to design a tab for the back as well soon, seeing as i'm designing horizontal dropouts for it anyway
  11. I am going to weld on a front disc tab to my Pashley forks and I have drawn up a quick 2D design file ready to laser cut an acrylic model to test it all fits before getting it cut properly. Does this sort of design look ok? I have been looking at other disc tabs and this seems to be a pretty common shape, the only difference I have noticed is some have a cut out inbetween the mounting holes where it attaches to the fork...reducing the area for weld which I think I will avoid seeing as it is such a high streess area. The top section presumably is to disperse some stress up the leg, I know tuning forks had this and cracked there so i'm not sure whether to stick with it or not?
  12. New pads time basically, its unlikely that you will get all the contamination out. Try putting the rotor in a dishwasher, and boiling the pads in a pan but I have had only had sucess doing this a few times
  13. Go for a smaller rear sprocket to make the gear 'harder' feeling although this will likely not be enough for the type of riding it seems you intend to do. This will also cause you issues if you intend to do proper trials stuff as it'll make it harder to pedal kick. You may be better off running gears if you want some choice. For a do it all bike there will always be a comprimise somewhere, you really need to decide if you will ever do any pure trials or not before anybody can help you
  14. Try lightly bending the spring instead, I had to do it on my ultimates
  15. Have you tweaked the spring tension screws on each arm?
  16. Too short and no rear disc mount Absolutely hated mine!
  17. Haha nice one. Being black I guess it doesn't stand out which is a bonus as otherwise they look pretty nasty on other colour cars. How come you haven't gone with lexan windows like Seamons did?
  18. Hows the other side looking these days? How long have you had the CF bonnet for?
  19. Those SLX brakes don't offer that great a power unfortunately, however are very comfy! Mine work well enough for me to cope
  20. My old Judys had a harsh top out when I converted them to air assist (still had the coil in as well). A few washers took up the slack and they were fine again Yank them apart and get fettling!
  21. What dimensions are the lenses? I would quite like bi-xenons
  22. Nope, not unless you retrofit projectors!
  23. I've been using these lately http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-5-SMD-LED-Xenon-White-LED-501-T10-W5W-Interior-Light-bulbs-SUPER-BRIGHT-/330908390293?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4d0bad5395 Been great, took them out recently to check and all the LEDS are still functioning (found others tend to slowly blow all the LEDS). For the price I am certainly not grumbling, certainly very visible on thier own EDIT: George is right, LEDS only really suit HIDS, my parents had these in their car and they looked reasonably white without looking out of place with thier halogen dips http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-OSRAM-W5W-5w-501-HALOGEN-COOL-BLUE-INTENSE-BULBS-E-ROAD-LEGAL-/310655227294?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item48547e959e Lasted 2 years, now they have LEDS (same as the ones i have) and HIDS
  24. Really enjoyed that, that spot looks like loads of fun!
