    New Koxx

hiydi hi campers....... My 2 pence worth just for the record: I went to koxx days and saw this frame hanging from the rafters in the koxx shop area and also Kenny riding one built up. it is possibly the best looking trials frame i have ever seen and ive been doing this for a rather long time now. The CNC work around the seat tube and BB area is extremelly well finished and the colourways and carbon toptube really give it an air of class. I didn't notice the disc mount as i run a rear maggie. Im not sure its worth £700 or so but non the less i will most definately consider buying one for the sheer beauty of it and if you saw what Mr Belay can do on it then im sure its good enough for mere mortal such as myself. And incase your wondering, ive never had a koxx and i ride an echo control.
  7. Shut it you, street boy I was under the impression that Zoo's were risers? .......risers as in the same/similar to my Pazazz!? i need to have a grope of peoples bars this weekend i feel And surely the oversize try-alls are same as standard try-alls but simply obese?? OR, just an idea, does anyone make a shim to go from standard clamp to 31.8? then i can just buy the original try-alls ARAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
  8. hellllooo one and all, a little help if u please, Looking to change from my Pazazz carbon risers back to a flat set of bars. I ran try-all replicas on my last bike which i really liked the shape of, i see try-all are now doing oversize 31.8mm flat bars which im very tempted by but cant find anyone with them in stock (they didn't even have them at koxx days!). i've had a look around but cant really seem to find exactly what im after. Ideally im wanting as close to 30" as possible, MUST be 31.8mm (im not changing my thomson stem!) and flat. i dont care who makes em, or how much they are, carbon, alu, whatever....... Suggestions please and where i can get them would be helpful. I thankyou in advance for your words of wisdom
  9. velly nice, me like muchly.
  10. lmfao - Baxter u gimp, how on earth did you think that putting a porcalin cup on the gas camping stove to boil water was a good idea? quote; fred; ''baxter, your cup's leaking'' baxter; ''nah its just a bit dripping down the side'' tom; ''no, no....its actually leaking'' baxter '' no it isn.............'' (bottom of cup falls off) CHUMP! Oh, and did anyone else realise than John Shrewsbury is a closet pyromaniac??!!!!!
  11. why did u have anal lube in the first place? i dont know, u boys from the medway towns eh?
  12. in the past ive used Citroen suspension fluid ...... Its the same mineral based liquid as magura blood but is 1/8 the price, however saying this, i've been using water with touch of anti freeze for years
  13. hahhhhhahahahahahahahaha LOL. Baxter, brilliant!
  14. t'was a very amusing weekend i must say. i learnt a few things; Thomas Ohler makes me . Tim Steadmans throwing is er.... interesting (hello sailor) Chris walker's riding is a hell of alot better than his driving (he ran 5 red lights in half a mile and wheel spun the van all the way up buthiers high street lol - legend) the lad riding the GU (sorry, forgot your name) can throw a nerf ball at insane speeds cana-dave is a bit handy on a bike, regardless of silly facial hair and being canadian French trees burn really well Dave is a funny b*****d, the tales of 'DANGER WANK' were a particular highlight. Benito Ros looks like Napoleon Dynamite IOLO is a nutcase Bucky and Waynio are bloody good at climbing trees Mr Pedrosa really enjoys walking around in his pants The french are f**kwit boring tossmonkeys who really need to cheer the f**k up. the old mans car will do 155mph French police are armed. Norfolk line ferries are a bunch of c**ts. New VP's + shins is not a good combination TRA can still woop ass with a broken wrist Buthiers is awesome for riding and shit for everything else. John Shrewsbury should be renamed: 'John Shrubbery the pyromaniac' a few photos i salvaged, check the elite section, it was insanely hard, they had to sidehop up to the massive rock from the one pete in the grey top is standing by, only benito did it while i was there and he had to have a couple of attempts.... Also, anyone know the results of the expert comp? 1st 2nd 3rd???
  15. I might well be able to matey. we (4 of us) gettin the 8am ferry from dover to dunkerque, then gotta make our way there so i reckon we'll be close by 2pm. IM or MSN me and well have a chat and ill send u my number. However, judging by the map, its only 1 mile from buthiers! , MAPPPPPPPPPP! MSN- tommo@biketrials.com Peace ooooout MrSuave
  16. This sounds like the best reason possible to make a journey across the country. Not only do we get to have an absolute beast of a ride and what sounds like a pretty mental party but to do it all in the fond memory of DJ then it has to be considered an absolute must i feel. Ive been in discussion with a few other local chaps and the rest of the MrSuave massive about this and its agreed that we are all gonna make the trip down on saturday morning, ride hard and party harder then head back on sunday. theyll be at least 4 of us and possiblly more, if any one has a spare shed we can inhabit saturday night it would be much appreciated?? and finally, i just want to say that anyone found bitching or being a dick on this occasion will be punished by the man with the big bat MrSuave

  20. peice of piss my man, just buy the steel one (good idea btw), take your hub apart via the allen key bolts on the axles and slowly twist and pull the old freehub body out, remove the cassette first though, remove axle and put it in the new one, then give your new one a touch of king lube or whatever lube you prefer , then insert while twisting slowly and when it locates youll hear an audible 'click', preload bearings and tighten the axle and away you go you can always have a look here: www.chrisking.com - in the tech section i belive.
  21. My bad! f**kin fantabulous, trials park in kent. butter my bum and call me a biscuit, tip bloody top. well done that man.
