  1. An ex I dated for like 15 months was a work whore, I tried to work around it and be sensitive and understanding like "oh don't worry baby, its fine you can't see me this week I'll just jack myself off and go out riding". But in the end it got too much and I pretty much said either you cut your hours or we break up, I loved her and all that shit but it ended up feeling like a fake relationship because we didn't actually see each other any of the time. Nothing you can do man, just don't be as much as a pussy as I was because if shes anything like my wench will only waste your time and she won't change because in her head she feels like shes working towards doing something fantastic with her life, which is more important that you. *wow that was kinda a vent about my ex* She has a bf now but I don't think he actually sees much of her.
  2. Didn't you once slam the brakes on so the car behind slammed into you intentionally? *That could be totally out of line I honestly can't remember if it was you or someone else or even on this forum*
  3. I thought with a 2:1 in maths and a years worth of experience in what I want to do, I'd walk into any job. 100 or so applications later and my ego is defiantly dented!
  4. The Bourne Supremacy It comes naturally to some of us!
  5. Are you actually sponsored by heatsink?
  6. Second time in job seekers and I've already had a row. I help out at a mates bar doing 0-10 hours a week. But if I work even my maximum 10 hours, I'm £5 better off. Got so annoyed phoned up work and told them I'm voulenteering now! haha BTW this was mostly because of the 6 peice of paper I have to bring and payslips, and lots of other admin bullshit, i.e. if I earn over £56 (or whatever) then I have to sign off JSA then back on it. Really not worth all the agg.
  7. No man thanks for your help its all useful stuff, just really wish I read one application and was like "yea thats awesome I really want to do that" but everything sounds pretty run of the mill. I'm just stuck between a rock and a hard place because I want on the job training but have missed the boat for a lot of grad schemes as I didn't think I was going to end up with a 2:1 but then did..... and I have over a years experience working in finance alongside banks and stuff on good money so i don't want to drop pay really.
  8. Feel your pain brother! I'm just about to sign on, been putting it off for 3 weeks but after 70+ applications im getting pissed off and my enthusiasm gets lower everyday. The only thing I could suggest (which I will start doing if I'm in this situation next week) is send in paper applications, sure they must get more noticed that online ones? Dunno. I'm f**ked anyway haha just doing 2 applications a day for jobs I don't really want.
  9. A work colleuge who was interested in buying my scooter, lets for arguments sake call him "dickhead a" asked for a ride round the carpark (privately owned) said he had experience and if he broke it he'd buy it. Then proceeded to ride into a wall. Pissed is not the word. Going to price it up tomorrow but think I'm just going to have to tell him he may as well buy it. I know it sounds stupid but I know my dad will f**k him up if he trys to get out of it..... so stuck in the middle lol
  10. My 203mm BB7 was a killer. Too powerful if anything, when riding down a slight slope you couldn't touch it or it would put you over the bars.
  11. I think xbox's are better consoles all round, and 10000x better for online gameplay. But maybe worth considering is that the Xbox "720" is rumored for release christmas 2013 so if you buy a PS3 now of least you can still use it as a spare blue ray player when it becombes completly redundant in 17 months.
  12. If she masturbates your shit. If she doesn't masterbate she's shit.
  13. An Ariel Atom's are like what £20,000 but based on their performance (which your talking about) It should be worth £100,000 but its not. Performance "chip upgrades" and stuff doesn't make it worth more if the 182 is more desirable.
  14. I didn't. Its a cheap crappy bottle, Tarty have done well in the past to just not sell the shitter components. Do you think all this is worth the £1.50 mark up Ads makes?

She turned for her mechanics to push her backwards into the garage and then suddenly accelerated into the truck in front.

"Apparently" anit-stall kicked in which gives 50% throttle in 1st gear. Shows in-experience but still tragic. All the best for her for sure. http://formulaoneupdate.wordpress.com/
  17. Hope make hubs not water bottles.
  18. About £110 a month gas & electric, 4 bed, 4 people.
  19. I think you learn more low powered cars (very similar to small motorbikes) in that you have to focus a lot more on your exit speeds, really excited at the prospect! Just need a job now! You don't happen to fancy employing a logistics controller do you Ads? haha
  20. Ok thanks for the advise guys got more of an idea what to look into, always liked the sound of MX5's, I'm not looking to go out at a billion MPH because I know learning to drive on a track is like learning to drive again. And corners have always been the best thing about driving, anyone can drive fast in a straight line, but getting round a corner at speed is real skill! At Brands (which I want to start at because I know the track inside out) they do novice evening sessions for £25 for 20mins with 4 sessions in an evening, that could be a bubble!
  21. Yea couldn't I just get something like this: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3907325.htm whip all the heavy shit out of it, go to a novice session at Brands Hatch for £140 my motorbike helmet, fire overalls and trainers / boots. And then if I want to evolve start with bucket seats and start building up?
  22. Sorry if I wasn't clear I'm not too worried about "racing", just 2 years ago I used to drive like a twat on the roads and decided that I would keep that side for the track where I could enjoy it without endangering anyone else. to be honest I'd be happy ragging a £600 145 around on my own to start with, my Dad used to do test driving so we have all the needed kit. Aren't there just open days where you can turn up, pay £150 and go mad for a day? Just don't want to get my hopes up and then find out its going to be £5k which is really out my price range short term. And yea Rally cross looks great fun, but they were f**king up each others cars so its never gonna be cheap! haha
