  1. Looks perfect. To all you low long silver riders that are complaining about it ever heard ''it's not the bike it's the rider''? Chris is a much better rider than you will ever be and he's doing in on a bike that doesn't have a 10000000000mm wheel base.
  2. --> QUOTE(joe b @ Jun 26 2006, 08:41 PM) ←Hello again... I am piecing together a new front disc brake. At the moment, i have an XTR cable and half an Avid Ulitmate lever (everthing but the Cam-Split bar clamp part, which holds the lever in place on the handlebar). I tried to get the spare part for the lever through the main importer, Fisher Outdoor Ltd. They said that they only sell through trade. So, Cleanbikes tried to get one for me, but as the minimum order is £300 we couldn't really see the point, just for an £11 spare part. Could anyone point me in the right direction as to where i could either buy one, new or second-hand, or maybe even get someone to make one for me; please bar in mind i don't want to be ripped off. Any help would be much appreciated! Cheers, Joe. Go to a different bike shop that orders from fishers more often. Next time they do an order they should be able to get one

  15. Was proberbly ok with the pig as there not quite as highly engineered as a king. Any proper bike shop should be able to face you headtube. Should cost you are £15 Get that done and I will be very surprised if it still creaks
  16. Try getting your headtube faced. My king used to creak loads. As soon as it was faced it stopped. Also chris king don't warranty there headsets if the headtube hasen't been faced. Paul
  17. For what ever reason black spokes snap more often than silver ones. As you seem to no everything there is to no about everything then please could you let us all know why this is. Thanks For all your helpful comments.
  18. They have only a 3 month warranty+megamo went bust a while ago so there will be no chance on a warranty. I suggest building the wheel 4x both sides as your quite a big guy. Use silver spokes as black are weaker. They are weaker because they are made slightly thinner so that once they apply the black coating there then the same as normal silver spokes and still fit through the hub flanges. Paul
