  1. Looking forward to it, fingers crossed for the weather
  2. Hopefully not but last time I checked a certain supplier's b2b there was no expected re-stocking date?
  3. Worth every penny, might wanna buy it soon though as pretty sure it's been discontinued There is however a new version on it's way http://www.bikerumor.com/2012/08/28/continental-adds-650bs-der-kaiser-rammstein-dh-x-king-cyclocross-clincher-tubular-tires/
  4. Really nice mate, one of the few video's on here I've actually watched all the way through
  5. Your welcome to try my 26" if you can make it to Hook woods on the 10th November mate
  6. Dual maggie with Trial tech forks, cut the steerer flush and it's pretty much perfect in my opinion
  7. I've never really liked the feel of Avid levers + they tend to devlop play fairly quickly (not Ultimate lever) I'd go with a Shimano xtr lever
  8. Not really worth a proper edit so thought I'd share them here: Couple of recent clips
  9. I've had one for getting on 6 months no with no issues. Spay a load of GT85 in it every few months, other than that I've done nothing with it. Been reliable, if you can afford one they go for it
  10. Boom http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/XKK5FScPG5E/
  11. I like 24" and ride a pretty highly specced out Echo http://www.trials-fo...-echo-trial-24/ Only things I dislike about 24" is in my opinion compared to 26" they don't tap very well. Anything above 46-47" I can't tap, just have to hop straight to rear like on a mod. Also tyre choice is currently pretty limited, but hopefully that'll change soon.
  12. Have posted this in a 24" tyre thread before but this is my opinion on the current options out there that I have used: Maxxis High Roller 24x2.5 60a Nice tyres providing you only ride street, bit heavy but good punture protection. Ride any proper natural like of camber rocks / logs then the 60a compound really is to hard and the grip really isn't there. Maxxis Swampthing 24x2.5 42a In my opinion this is currently the best tyres for 24" proper trials, just a little heavy but worth the weight penalty. Great tyre for natural with the 42a compound offering good grip and wear rate. Good punture protection bettered only by the High Roller. If you value grip over weight this is the tyre to get in my opinion. Schwalbe Big Betty Really didn't rate this tyre and can't understand why many people rate this. The compound is somewhere between to two Maxxis tyres and grips good for street and average for natural in the dry. The tyres plus point for many people is the low weight, the punture protection isn't great and I found with the light side walls you needed to run a higher pressure to reduce the tyre roll. Main issue then though is it looses grips. I managed to rip 3-4 knobs of tread of this tyre as well, wear rate is slightly better than the Maxxis Swampthing. If your a light rider who mainly rides street and your pretty smooth then maybe give it a try? Schwalbe Fat Albert Very similar to the Big Betty, although seems to have slightly stiffer sidewalls and slightly better punture protection. Still not as good as either Maxxis in terms of sidewall stiffness and punture protection though. Grip on street is good and on natural is fairly good but not as good as the Maxxis Swampthing on the off camber stuff or wet weather stuff. Low weight is a good point but the high price isn't. Hopefully it won't be too long till TryAll or Continental make a tyre for 24" trials, a 24" version of the Continental De Kaiser or Try-All sticky would be perfect.
  13. Not on my Facebook profile so hopefully this works? Tried to link the video from facebook but it's not set as public I'll have a word with the owner and see if i get sort you all a link
  14. It's a mate of mine called Martin, filmed last Jan-Feb time. Was about 2 degree's that day so you can imagine how cold that water was
  15. Why would you want to though? Amazes me that trials bike haven't adopted the tapered head tube yet, especially with the development of carbon forks ect.
  16. Just entered Only ridden Crowthorne and Hampshire series before so looking forward to meeting some new faces
  17. Another one, a lot better quality
  18. I've had 3 Maxxis Swampthing's on the rear now over the last 6-8 months and worn them all down to nearly bald. In that time I think I've had 3-5 pinch flats max? Punctures really depends on your riding style/ability and pressure's you use.
  19. Maxxis Swampthing is the only rear tyre I've found to be any good on natural / wet weather riding. Have tried the following and my thoughts are: Maxxis High Roller 24x2.5 60a Nice tyres providing you only ride street, bit heavy but good punture protection. Ride any proper natural like of camber rocks / logs then the 60a compound really is to hard and the grip really isn't there. Still not as good as either Maxxis in terms of sidewall stiffness and punture protection though. Grip on street is good and on dry weather natural is fairly good but not as good as the Maxxis Swampthing on the off camber stuff. Low weight is a good point but I happily scarifies that for the grip offered by the heavier Maxxis options. Hopefully it won't be too long till TryAll or Continental make a tyre for 24" trials, a 24" version of the Continental De Kaiser or Try-All sticky would be perfect.
  20. For the three ride's I used that tyre I didn't need a half link and no rubbing issues? Once your chain stretches a bit you'll be fine
  21. http://www.facebook.com/groups/251876548219260/ Loads of riders in the Hampshire area of all levels, join the Facebook group and get involved
  22. The Echo Tr blade is a lot narrower than the 04 Magura one. Try finding a Fresh products lever blade or get a 2011 HS11 or HS33 blade and with a little modification Shazam
