  1. It all depends on the upsweep, backsweep and rise, check the geo out and compare them to popular trials bars. BUt then is down to personal preference and what sort of style riding you're doing; street, comp, tgs etc
  2. Myself and Andrei were talking about heading down either Saturday or Sunday, so hopefully see some of you down there.
  3. look at a sprung tensioner as you turn the cranks round and watch the tight spots in the chainring and rear sprocket, now imagine that stress and strain going through the chain with a fixed tensioner, no where for it to go. Purely for that reason i wouldn't run anything but a sprung tensioner, 74 kingz style set up, out the way and does the job nicely.
  4. I say the orange one Luke I will most likely be modelling a shirt and tie of some description gotta be done, drinks the night before Luke?
  5. Eurgh its hideous kieran, hope you get your new frame soon. Does it ride as bad as it looks?
  6. Looks really nice Adam, much prefer that colour over the green, especially with the small red highlights setting it all off. Guess you've got to have sucha high front end to off set the BB rise and make it possible to bunny hop the thing!
  7. I think that you're missing the point, its giving you the choice to run what brake you want to and having the ability to change whilst keeping the same frame. But as has been said a lot of frames are now coming with both options.
  8. RB levers work with pretty much any brake that uses mineral/magura blood, just not dot fluid. Its down to piston ratios and how it will feel at the lever and how much power you will get from it.
  9. It was quite a good ride, shame it was in March, you missed out.
  10. You maybe able to find an amourdillo on ebay which was a downtube protector, i dont know if its sold in the shops anymore. If not bit of plastic pip with some thin padding behind zip tied on?

  12. As an alternative drilled Onza Ronnie, same sort of width as a DX32, bigger braking surface and holds a grind incredibly well.
  13. Seriously what are you doing to these freewheels?! is your chain line ok? is your chain too tight? Just can't figure out what the hell you're doing to destroy so many parts, some of which are seen to pretty damn reliable Something is very wrong here, either you're the most unlucky person when it comes to buying freewheels or something with your riding or the way you put your bike together is at fault. As for Deng free hubs, get some good dental insurance. Probably the most unreliable freehub produced specifically for the trials market.

  19. 2 weeks isn't very long and you're asking a lot for the price range in which you're looking. Yes one may have gone for that money recently but they don't come up very often, hence why you haven't seen anything!
  20. measure the ERD got to the DT swiss website and use the online calculator.
  21. Went for my first spin on the bike in about 15 months today on the Quantocks, finally got it all dirty Just needs the stickers being put on the forks and the king 20mm hub built up and its sorted, i say that but i can see a bit more money being spent on it yet
