  1. That's just Portland on a sunny day. Helps that the rock and the ground are so white makes the whole place look so bright. Was a damn good days riding, the video misses out so so many huge lines and moves.

  3. He's been riding on those cranks for over 6 months, which for Andrei anything lasting 6 months is impressive! So i don't think there are any worries about strength. For someone who has always been a few years behind the curve with comp frame geo, he seems to be getting on pretty damn well with it!

  6. I cant see the attaction of using a smooth rim or over a ground rim at all. The only advantages to a smooth clean rim are if you're riding streety, flowy lines where an on/off brake is counter productive. A well set up brake/pad combo with a good sharp grind will out perform any other rim/brake setup for bite and hold in all conditions. Why compromise if you don't have to?
  7. 1.7KGS with the headset which is 80 grams.
  8. Already has Ti pedal axles, BB and singlewalled rims. Personally I'd stick with the TryAll tyres, a little more weight for considerably more grip and puncture resistance. Neon 2012 rims front and rear- very light. Zhi CNC cranks- new ones are a reasonable amount lighter than the tryalls. Ti rear sprocket. Ti/ Alloy bolts. Ti hose fittings. I don't think sub 8Kgs is possible with this frame (it is 1.7 Kgs), unless you want to get skinny puncture prone tyres and uber expensive carbon forks. I don't have a Ti BB or carbon forks, I do have Tryall Stiky lite/ Shift tyres and what can be changed to Ti/Alu has been and it's around the 8.5 Kgs mark.
  9. Stick with that stem unless you're fairly tall? Creaking might be the rear wheel where its 116mm rear end. Mine creaked a little as the wheel bedded in, until the spokes got re tensioned. Looks good You won't get it massively lighter, think mine is about 8.6 Kgs.

  12. Trials-Addict are really good. Ben is always happy to help and if you want something a bit different he's always happy to try and source for you and always at a very good price. If it's not on the site just call him as he's more than likely got it. I've spent a fair chunk of money with Ben over the last 4-5 months and have always recieved excellent customer service. Can't recommend them enough.
  13. Yeah I've been told, i'm a fairly light rider so should be OK, but i'll keep my eye on them. They do seem quite flexy, but then i was running Trialtech 4 bolts before i cracked those at the mounts; but these are light so i guess it is to be expected. New Neon front rim and TryAll Shift to come
  14. The TGS comment makes no sense, how did you conclude I only like TGS videos? It seems a little like Hipsters, they try so hard to be different that they succeed, but end up just looking really really odd too. Just think it was so far removed from a regular trials or street trials video for me; 24" street trials used to be called "shit BMX" and that's exactly what this looks like to me.
  15. I like it, is it still a two piece welded affair? The insert is a novel way of getting around the bar clamp issue, serious pain in the posterior. Might have to acquire myself one of these...

  17. Can I open the controversy and say I just didn't like that at all. Well filmed and edited, but the riding just didn't work for me at all.
  18. FFW or Pro2/ King? If it's a FFW could be where you're running the chain too tight and the tight spot causes the freewheel/ chain to click.

  20. I can see why a company who makes a whole range of bikes and parts would like a single rear end spacing, makes good business sense; but 116mm really doesn't work on a stock. Might end up tie soldering my spokes to eliminate the flex I seem to get.
  21. Maybe 5-6 years ago that was the idea, but you very rarely see 36H stuff run in any MTB discipline, apart from maybe DJ stuff.Really isn't needed in normal trials, maybe street, but not TGS or compy stuff.What rear rim are you using out of curiosity?
  22. I doubt they will all go 116mm rear spacing. My Breath frame is and you get noticable wheel flex, you can hear the spokes pinging as you pedal hard.36H is just unnecessary, it doesn't really any massive strength gains when compared to a 32H rim. Especially since rims are now so much stronger. You could just find a 32H shell for your Pro2 and open up your options WRT rims?
